No, wasn't aware. Will go try to track down. Thanks. (waves back) Coming in late to this missing some pieces it seems. Though reminded of eons ago when we were hashing out the first threatened Citizen Vein material unauthorized release. Possibly we were still at MJ's. And how Monte, who was thought to be the only known holder of the rights, was so silent about it. But it looked like Monte was against Adam then. And, lo and behold, Adam hires his old friend for the tour. And, now it seems Monte signed away all his rights, too. But the "it's just business" aspects of Hollywood happen between friends. Though in Adam's case it feels more like business happens for his friends because of the friendship, and Adam's generously embracing fans. I see FHS is offline now, but here is the link to Monte's letter: montepittman.com/beg-for-mercy/I should retract something I said earlier. I said that I couldn't see how Adam & Monte could work together now or something like that.. I don't know anything about their relationship, private or professional, and I should not have made such a statement. Thank you for being honest enough to say that.

I agree...it is no accident. But his silence is also deafening...he is in-actively killing a multi-year relationship by not stepping in. Guess that is what he wants. Life moves on I suppose....hope there are no regrets later....
I don't get this. I really don't. Adam's silence is inactively killing a multi-year relationship?? Why is Adam the bad guy in this? Have you considered that Monte promoting the album, including a link to a very deceptive website that banks on confusion regarding Adam's album, a website that deceptively used Adam's tweets about his RCA album and tried to link them to this album, could be ACTIVELY killing the multi-year relationship?? It amazes me how often others surrounding Adam are given the benefit of the doubt in these situations but not Adam himself. I repeat bocobabes explanation when I repeated my agreement "I just meant that Monte was taking a lot of heat from Adam's fans, and Adam could easily have tweeted to ask the fans to lay off - as he has done in the past when some overzealous Glamberts have overstepped themselves. No issue with legal repercussions at all." Adam usually steps in and defends his friends --he has not done that. That is all I am commenting on. You may draw your own conclusions on the right or wrong ness of that. I do not know all the facts so I am keeping my own counsel. Please DO NOT misrepresent my words. And DO NOT cast aspersions on my method of fanning Adam with words suggesting I may be one of those "others" that "doubt" Adam while not 'doubting' others as that is patently not the case. ***
Just a re-reminder. There is no "right" way to be an Adam fan. Please make sure when you post that you are not bashing other members of the fandom. Everyone is ALLOWED TO HAVE DIFFERENT VIEWS (ATOP Rule #4).
Accept the fact that not everyone may agree with your views and that their alternative POV neither makes them "good" or "bad".
Venting is fine. Disparaging other members is not.
Thanks. -HSM

I don't necessarily think Monte is "the bad guy"-- life just isn't that black and white. I think he is a guy with an agenda, and that agenda is to further his own career and put more money into his bank account. In reading Monte's post, it reminded me of Steve Cooke's (except way more articulate): "we wanted to make music, someone gave us the opportunity to do so, and now they want to release the music. i have no control. do what you want. don't hate me. oh, and it's only rock and roll all about the music. " Monte says he's proud of the music and that's fine. Adam says it doesn't reflect who he is. Two different perspectives. But it's Adam's name on the album. If it gets retailed, it'll be filed under Lambert. ITA with Rabbitrabbit. The only people who will buy this album will be, A) a small number of Adam fans who dont' have an ethical issue with it, and B) casual fans or new fans who hear Adam's new single, see the album, and buy it thinking it's Adam's current music. The fact that Take One sold 100K is plenty of motivation for the people releasing this. The small amount of money that Adam would make on this album is certainly not worth the risk of brand confusion and potential dissatisfied customers. Naturally, he's against it. Monte on the other hand, serves to make what for him is probably a significant profit. Naturally, he's for it. Which is probably why he said "do whatever you want," but still included a link to the album site. And why he said, " if you like what you hear, you should buy it and support everyone involved with this album." Really? Even the bastard Welsford who is behind all this and who stands to profit the most? What we have here is two competing agendas, two different perspectives. I'm on Adam's side. Yeah this So much (love this gif - even if it doesn't quite fit!) ;D

I was looking around for a like button and then realized I wasn't on Facebook. Very well said. On the BFM recording.... I have been reading and lurking for days(seems like weeks) and have been scrolling past all the posts, speculations, etc.... Tired.... Just wanna say, Stop. Leave Monte alone. Move on. Who in the fuck will care if Adam#2 blows up. It doesn't matter who, it doesn't matter if. It is all in the past. It's all about next..... remember, Adam said that once a long two years ago. Lessons learned???? No? Maybe??? Hope??? Love Yes Let's stop telling people what to do!!Ooops!! Didn't mean to go there. In no way am I trying to tell anyone what to do. I am all for free expression on this board and I love reading everything anyone has to say. My post is mine and I own it. No one else is expected to agree or to adjust their opinions based on what I post. Over all the times and years that I have posted, I would hope by now that my posts have no more relevance than any other opinions or aholes. J/S. Oh. Look at the time. It's my bedtime. Blame it on the sleep deprivation. ( Not nearly as catchy as Blame it on the alcohol).
