OMG! He is adorable!!! FLAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adam with a baby!! Presh!!!! ACK! Someone musta run a razor around Adam's head while he was sleeping. Bet he was shocked when he woke up and looked in the mirror. ;D Sure is a purdy pic tho. 8-) |

I'm sorry to weigh in on this as things are calming but as reading the last few pages have affected my evening well.. Even cute SQUIRREL photos can only soothe so much :-/. I too have been deep in trying work issues today so stopped for a little Adam stanning read. I don't have an additional pov or side to add - I think it's all been said. Most recently, MWP, as usual, was the eloquent one. I'm not planning on purchasing the album in question at this point given the way in which it is being presented but would not project that decision on someone else. It seems that some people feel they have enough information to take a heated stand. I do not feel that way, but respect other opinions. However, for me, the analogy of Monte vandalizing Adam's home or being paid off to ignore a physical assault on Adam is a just a bad analogy and in poor taste at best. I also am uncomfortable w/terms like 'raping' his friend's brand. And Adam has indeed worked his ass off but did not almost kill himself or shed blood to achieve his current success. This is all violent imagery and I do find it upsetting; a society is reflected in how it carries on civil debate. Aggressive hyperbole does not enhance reasoned discussion, it tends to drive some calmer souls away while provoking others to respond in kind - not to mention I think one should always pause before using rape and physical assault as a metaphor. Especially in a case like this. This is a business issue and a potential legal/financial annoyance that may cause Adam and his mgmt a headache to sort out. It may even result in the loss of a friendship which is sad in my view. However, it is not placing Adam's career or well-being (physical or financial) at risk. Of course, sadly I do not know Adam personally so my views are only those of a fan. (I'm a little too stressed to proof so apologize for typos.) Apologies for downer post but like I said - my relaxing dinner was kinda ruined so suddenly felt I had to get my words out~ My reaction to pics -- Cute baby! Pretty Adam!!! Um, original haircut?  |
