Soooooo, since Adam is definitely in LA and has worked on the "potential" single twice this week, that we know of. And one of those times was when he and Olligee tweeted back and forth. I am going with the single is the Bonnie McKeee and Oliver one! And the only reason he said "potential" was so we wouldn't twitter bombard him with more questions about it  |

The face is great , just great... fresh and dewy.... The hair.... kind of like grunge mullet meets Cockatoohawk. But its a much better version than this....   |

Sorry if I'm bringing up old business, but I've been catching up on this giant crazy news that there was another bastard album in the works. I read Monte's blog and traveled to the adamlambertalbum site to listen to the clips. They're not bad songs and Adam of course sounds fabulous. But......
It's ironic, really. Had the producers chosen to be more upfront about this and simply called this album "Beg for Mercy - previously unreleased tracks by The Citizen Vein starring Monte Pittman and Adam Lambert" maybe fandom and Adam would not be quite so bent out of shape about this. I mean, last year, two years ago, we were kind of hoping that songs like The Circle would eventually be released, polished and pretty, so we could all enjoy that Adam rock wail the way we like. But, alas, they call the album "Adam Lambert - Beg for Mercy"!!! Fools!!!!! They will not make the $ they desire as Adam's fans are discerning and serious in our loyalty to our man. Yes, the album will sell, but only as an oddity to less serious, less invested fans, a filler while we wait for the real deal.
I do not worry that this album will steal sales from the true masterpiece that Adam is working on now. There is a good 6 months between this strange little detour and the release of Adam #2. And there will ALWAYS be people waiting in the wings to take advantage of Adam's fame. I think he is aware of this and does not like it and probably really hates that he can't control it, but as a singer, once you have laid down tracks and been paid, your voice is out there and those tracks may be released someday, especially if you make it big. And Adam has made it big, so there it is.
Peace my lovely Adam friends. This is just show business and Adam #2 will sell well and survive this just as FYE survived and heavily outsold the very odd Take One album.

I know Asam loves make-up, and I love most every look he dreams up, but I love the natural look of him here with the baby. Me too and I've always maintained that the heavy make-up emphasizes the acne scars. It doesn't cover them. I figure it's like my wrinkles.... heavy make up = bad. Light make up = good! ;D So true! (Says someone with way more wrinkles than you!) I have never been able to understand why he thinks he looks better with black-marker eyebrows and heavy foundation. TV or no TV. Cause he has such great taste in everything else fashion-wise. Well except for one or two missteps.  Won't post pics.  And I'm in the #likethehair corner. |

Just label it Citizen Vein featuring Adam Lambert with Monte Pitman on guitar. Oh, and don't release it to coincide with Adam's real single and real album and I might (unless Adam still said "Fuck" and "I do mind") do a complete 180 on how I feel about it all. Maybe the CV songs are not the best, but I like them because Adam is singing them. To ignore Take one is so much easier for me, I think i have only listened to one or two of them. But this Bastard album ... I don't think I can resist downloading it (not buying though)  And I love Adams lower register, more than his higher register. It gives me creeps everytime, especially this song, Turning On. |
