It's clear... Adam is asking us to keep viewing CIH. Javi: "And I oop" !!

skaschep.. why do you suppose CIH didn't make it on to larger playlists and more of them like NE did? Because it wasn't streamed enough. The streams in the first 2 days were too little to get it high on the New Music Friday lists (and in some countries it didn't make it on there at all) resulting in lower streams from the NMF lists. Fans really need to step up their game if we wan't a hit for Adam. Adam is asking us in several ways to view and stream, but somehow too much fans don't. 12k streams in one day is way too little. Adam released his last two songs on Wednesday for a reason. Feel Something didn't make it onto all the New Music Friday lists because Adam doesn't have a high enough profile to get on there automatically. When you release on Wednesday you have 2 days to build up streams and momentum to show Spotify that Adam's music is good enough to make it on there. This worked with New Eyes in a way as that song was put on most of the lists and also in some countries fairly high (Germany for instance on #7 which also resulted in that Sommerhits playlist after that). For Comin In Hot streams were way lower for the first two days and that resulted in less playlists and a lower spot on the playlists it got on. It's partly up to us fans to make sure we do those first streams. And I felt that as a whole we let Adam down this time. Spotify streams should be a multiple of YouTube views as YT only counts 4-10 views per day while you can stream on Spotify continuously. Yet Spotify is not even at 400k while the video is almost up to 2 million. Something is going wrong here.

Could some of it be because Taylor recommended people to listen to it as well, I know I saw quite a few comments on YT saying here from Taylor Swift and she also put it on her spotify playlist.

Yes, Taylor's recommendation helped. She didn't put in on her Spotify playlist though, but on Apple Music. She doesn't use Spotify much I believe. But is did help some on Spotify as well I think. It shows to me how small Adam's fanbase has become and how little people are streaming his songs. Even though there are plenty of new fans as well who got into Adam in the last years.

I wonder why people didn't stream this song as much.. I really like CIH, and it's in the same vein as NE. Maybe fans don't realize how critical the first 2 days of streaming is for a song to get on bigger and more playlists. Also as the QAL shows draw closer, streaming Adam's new songs may get lost in the shuffle. Weren't there IG ads for the video? Maybe that's why there were more video views than streams?

It's on Taylor's Playlist by ME on spotify as well, that's the one I listened to. Just checked and New Eyes is still number 8 on the list but that could be just for me based on me following Adam on there but it doesn't have that many followers tbf. I saw your chartmetrics post on twitter and I really don't get why Adam's falling lower, every time he does anything high profile people rave about him, even one's who aren't already fans so his following should be increasing, really puzzles me.
