I've pretty much stayed out of the BFM discussion (except for a couple of comments) hoping it would go away... :  . But I wanted to say that I was one of those people who received Take One as a gift. My husband and daughter were so excited when they surprised me with it. :( I won't let that happen again. I've already prepared them for both imposters. I am glad to see RCA is aware and hopefully now radio stations will not be fooled by this BFM single...grrr but it is galling. >:( ETA: wal , I like your avi! |

Watched a re-run of Oprah today on NZ TV - 10th anniversary of O magazine & Christina Aguilera performed: The beginning is a total rip-off of Adam's Idol WWFM performance!!!!  Was it discussed at the time? cos if it was, I don't remember it.... Apologies if I'm bringing up something way out-of-date, but this really bugged me LOL! And I actually mostly like Christina - she is an amazing singer, but does over-sing and over-do stuff a lot of the time... : Would be thrilled if Adam & her did a duet at some point tho. Yes, it was noticed at the time and there was a YouTube side-by-side video comparison. |

Adam is now on the ballot of MTV's O Music Awards in the Must Follow Artist on Twitter category. The competition is stiff – Justin Bieber, Cher, Snoop Dogg, Lady Gaga, Mark Hoppus and Blake Shelton. But looks like he could give Biebs and Gaga a run for the money in this one.

There are some things that are certain --- BFM will not get any radio airplay. Just like the lead single for TO did not get any airplay. RCA promo is working on getting BFM off of the Clear Channel websites where it is listed on the discography on the Adam Lambert page. This is coming from some centralized database and is shown on the Adam Lambert artist page in his discography. It does not link to Amazon or anywhere else where someone can buy it. Just a question about the gift of TO you received -- did you husband and daughter think they had purchased Adam's new album for you? Or did they think they purchased an old album done by Adam that "any" Adam fan just had to have? Or was it something else? |
