I am very very low tech, have been strolling through the help center. Hope I can do better tomorrow. I am happy to meet you all who have the same admiration of Adam as me. Hope you can understand my English. So tell us about where you live and how you discovered Adam! You are writing great English!!

There are some things that are certain --- BFM will not get any radio airplay. Just like the lead single for TO did not get any airplay. RCA promo is working on getting BFM off of the Clear Channel websites where it is listed on the discography on the Adam Lambert page. This is coming from some centralized database and is shown on the Adam Lambert artist page in his discography. It does not link to Amazon or anywhere else where someone can buy it. Just a question about the gift of TO you received -- did you husband and daughter think they had purchased Adam's new album for you? Or did they think they purchased an old album done by Adam that "any" Adam fan just had to have? Or was it something else? No, they didn't mix it up with FYE. We already had that. They were just in Target, saw Adam, and knowing that I'm a big fan, made an impulse buy. So, in our case, it didn't take away from a sale of FYE. But it did put money in Welsford's pocket and IMO he's a sleazy SOB that I would rather not give money to. As for BFM single, I had a feeling it wouldn't get played so I'm happy to hear you say that. But just the idea of it being sent to radio stations as Adam's single * is just blech and reinforces my opinion that Welsford is an opportunistic weasel. * at a time when his true single is imminent! Thanks for the info and that is similar to a few other stories that I've seen online -- family members finding something the Adam fan in their life did not have -- and I gather that can be hard. No chance BFM will get airplay just like "Want". Finally, just a minor correction -- based on the lawsuits that have been filed related to TO -- the only one who certainly made money on TO is Rene Moore/Rufftown Records, these are the people who released and distributed Take One. Malcolm had the rights to these masters but there is no indication he got any of the promised royalties (looks like he did not based on the lawsuits) -- but he probably got an upfront payment. Rufftown Entertainment are the same people who are behind The Paramount Session album (AKA son of Take One.) If you go thru the court filings looks like no one has received any royalties from TO. They are a pack of rats and snakes! But there is some different deal involved with BFM. NOTE: I am not defending Malcolm "the big rat" Welsford just trying to keep the facts straight. Or is he a snake?

Or is he a snake? Ah, interesting about TO and Welsford. I'll admit I'm pretty sketchy about all the details of these fakes. I really do try to ignore them but while we're waiting for Adam's new music, well, it's hard not to get sucked in. Luckily, I'm very easy to distract with shiny objects so I won't dwell on it for long. As for the pack of them, I'll opt for rats because I don't mind snakes but I do have a pathological fear and hatred of rodents!

Thanks so much aralid. I fully understand your hesitation. On one hand we need to warn people interested but not in the know about BFM, on the other hand every comment we make also creates marketing and hits on search pages. My own choices are: If there are already a few comments, explaining the situation then I leave it at that, but if there are no comment or if the comments are misleading, then it is probably worth the hit to leave a comment, imo. As far as web-sites: www.adamnews.de is by far the best one out there in DE/AT/CH and it has a forum (button underneath the facebook and twitter signs). So it is fairly easy to introduce yourself in the introduction thread and bring up a topic on that forum there and ask whether they want to discuss further. Furthermore, Nadine does have contacts within Sony Germany and has made very good use of that both getting some info out as well as keeping the fan-site and any info she may be able to get in check. Most fans on it are teenagers, so it is in style and culture a bit different than here, not so much discussion and yapping and more information only, pretty flippant in style, I'd give them a very good vote overall. Then there is an Adam Lambert thread on IOFF - for example: www.ioff.de/showthread.php?t=348858&page=292 will get you to page 292 of that thread. This thread moves slowly, but major news are reported on. Neither of the two places has so far addressed the BFM / Paramount situation. And in Germany BFM will not only be marketed at Amazon. I think that if German music web-sites outside of Amazon are showing BFM, it will be happening in other countries too, we just have not found it yet, but that is just my opinion. Hope you meet some great people there. The Berlin and Cologne section are the biggest representatives there as far as I know. Good luck in finding that start to the proverbial ball of wool of finding some contacts. Finally, regarding that ball of wool, I agree, the neon green/yellow does not fit with Adam and in fact hurts my eyes a bit. But I have to say they otherwise have some very nice colors there. Not much time or talent in the knitting department myself. They certainly got the attention our attention, didn't they, so that makes it good marketing in itself. ETA: Welcome iceish! And a very Happy Birthday to Jesse555 !
