in the Advocate interview Adam says his album sounds like Nine Inch Nails with George Michael. I tried to figure out how it could sound like but I don't know anything about Nine Inch Nails. Can someone recommend a few songs to me? Try the album Pretty Hate Machine. I used to absolutely love it in my 20s. Head Like a Hole, The Only Time and That's What I Get are great, not to forget the super angsty Something I Can Never Have, which must be the inspiration for several fics across different fandoms. Closer could be good to start with, it pretty much tells what they are all about. And don't forget to lissten the lyrics 8-) LOL I think we had a discussion at Atop about Closer. I think if Adam ever sang those lyrics with his passion, we would all be officialy dead!  8-) |

Does anyone remember when that tweet about seeing Adam at an Out photo shoot happened? Wasn't it during summer? I was thinking that The Advocate cover was 19m's doing, not DMG. Wasn't the Advocate cover shot done the week before Burning Man? The photographer mentioned that they discussed going to Burning Man. Burning Man was the end of August, and that was the week Adam said he was very busy. But I don't remember when the move to DMG happened. |

Apologies for being totally OT, but I received an email with a little text and a gif (smiley) that I absolutely loved. It's not Adam-related but it's just so cute. (GWS IMO) I just wanted so much to share it with Atop (nursing home) peeps as I'm sure you'd all appreciate it, but I don't know how to make it happen. Could I be really cheeky and ask if anyone who's really techie would mind pm'ing me an email address and seeing if it's possible to do something with it, if they thought it worth the effort of course. If no-one's up for it I do understand but I'd be so chuffed if I could get it posted  . Justgill, Highlight the whole e-mail, minus sender and recipients, press Ctrl C, go over to Atop, set up your post and press Ctrl V and wallah, it should getposted. Thanks for replying smokeyvera, but that only brings the words. The little line of gifs just doesn't happen. Seoulmate, I've pm'd you back, thank you. I loooove this place. I've not had 2 brain cells to rub together for the last 3 weeks with so many different bugs hitting my daughter, the twins and me that I've just about managed to check in to make sure I don't miss anything important. Thanks guys for enjoying my story. I had to leave after I posted it and just got back. And I forgot to mention that we started talking about diversity and he said we are all here together and lets just enjoy, respect, and appreciate what each of us contribute to this world. There's room for everyone! He owns a business and his partner is a pilot. I was so happy to find these two professionals men felt that way. I kept thinking OMG I could be standing here talking to Adam...their 'positive energy' was the same!! This meeting with my friend just made me happy for the rest of the day!  |
