OTT, and personal: EXCITED AND FLAILING !!!!! But won't happen before Mayumi's listening party, Bah Humbug !!!! Just to let you know guys, we now have an offer on our home in Greenville, SC with a close date of 11/30/2011. It will be 8 months on the market till close. I am really excited as my son and I are currently living in GA for school for the past 3 months, while hubby continues to live in SC. Not looking forward to the move however...during Thanksgiving week. My son and hubby will go to Florida, and I will handle the move and setup in GA, so they have a home, to come home to, rather than a huge mess. My daughter may help, if she is so inclined. I told her , it's a good way to work off some of the money she owes me. YAY! Maybe you'll be settled in in time for the ALBUM release party!! |

So my son did go to Nile Rodger's book signing and Q and A today and said it was a really great experience. Nile has always been one of his heroes. He even took a picture with him.  It seems Nile will be playing the guitar on one of Adam's tracks as tweeted. I can't wait to hear that song! Haven't read the whole thread yet but just want to say, what a great photo! I was hoping I could go until I remembered I had a babysitting marathon yesterday, 3-10. My grandson was a good replacement for Niles though.  |

Lynne.. I am so Happy you Son was able to go and meet a hero of his.. what an exciting event for him.. Smokey.. So happy this house ordeal is almost over.. just hang on another 6 wks.. KittyKay... Happy Happy Birthday.. have a wonderful day  I am ready for more pretties today.. coffee'ed up and ready and waiting... Yay.

Smokey What great news! Finalllllllly! Fingers crossed all goes as planned. I know you'll be super busy next month but hope you'll be able to meet up with us mayumi's on the 20th! I am hoping also, as the professional movers are moving the furniture on 11/18 and hopefully delivering 11/19, if all goes well. We are renting a truck and moving everything else but our furniture on 10/29-31. We are certain, the sale will go thru, as the inspection has already been done, and it's our realtor who is buying it. It's just the appraisal now and termite bond. I live across the Chatahoochee River from Mayumi's. You can walk it, if the river wasn't in the way. She is in Gwinnett County and I am in Forsyth county. I plan on hosting the cd party in spring-ish with Mayumi as co-host, when the album comes out. Mayumi and I can share accomodations for folks. I will have room for 9 peeps, if you don't mind sharing queen beds and also bunk beds. Sofas, if you can handle it will sleep more. Yeah, flipping yeah !!!!!!!! |

I must admit I'd barely any knowledge of Nile before the legendary twitter exchange, but from reading in his blog and following him on twitter, he seems like a really great guy, and I think he and Adam would like each other very much.
