I am verklempt, thrilled, excited, smitten... and happy that Adam is where he is right now. It has to be surreal to be in a recording studio with Nile Rodgers. And there is a photographer chronicling it! Wow!!!!!! Iconic moment! Yes! i'm feeling so...I don't even know what to say atm. Well I guess if we don't have single tweet, this is good enough, to placate us, gah I'm so happily smitten with Adam. We're getting so many goodies today, not sure if I can take too much more

aspenI love your post. So true. I often wonder though about all these people that discovered Adam after AI, just watching a video clip and got into the rabbit hole along with the rest of us. I'm always interested to listen to their stories. What was it that made them search further about him? Usually (I must say ALWAYS) when I listen to a new artist and I love him, I just listen to the song, maybe buy his album etc. But I don't try to do a whole research about him. It's truly fascinating. Something magical happens when you listen to his voice, your feelings explode, just like us when we listened to "mama" that's the only thing I can say. I grew up in Asian until late teen before I moved to oversea. As a teen I was heavily affected by the POP culture in our daily life. At that time, I was hooked to the most famous POP singer known as Asian Madonna, only she could sang very well live, dance songs and Ballads. She was very dedlcated to music, her style always reflected her life experiences. This was her last concert and the song was called "sunset melody". Before she sang, she said:"This song is from my heart and soul, although the sunset is beautiful, it will be gone in seconds, become the past. We have to treasure each minute and second." At the end she said she married to the Stage. :'(Six weeks later, she passed away and I cried for a few days. Never thought I would find another one until I saw Adam on the internet. It must be the theatrical sense of music that deeply rooted in my past culture, I find Adam very similar to her, not the style of music but the ways they both represented on Stage, very dramatic and theatrical . And Adam's vocal is very powerful. His FS WLL had shown more of his ability to music and I know I have the right one. Something in his voice touches me very very deeply. Of course, there are shallow sides involve. :)Writing English still a challenge to me! Hope it is OK to bring some other culture to this place!

I think you cut the high end a little short ... try 20s to 70s ... [laugh] I know, but for those of us who have decades to go before retirement, this blanket "ATOP old age home" meme that's been going on lately comes off as, well, weird. [wryly] And - frankly - with the way Social Security is going, most of us are gonna drop dead before we're allowed to stop working anyway! : Am past "retirement age" but will be working for quite a while yet - have just accepted it. That is, unless I run myself out of business because I neglect my work and spend all day/night stanning Adam - and it looks like it could be really easy to do if today is any indication...
