aspenI love your post. So true. I often wonder though about all these people that discovered Adam after AI, just watching a video clip and got into the rabbit hole along with the rest of us. I'm always interested to listen to their stories. What was it that made them search further about him? Usually (I must say ALWAYS) when I listen to a new artist and I love him, I just listen to the song, maybe buy his album etc. But I don't try to do a whole research about him. It's truly fascinating. Something magical happens when you listen to his voice, your feelings explode, just like us when we listened to "mama" that's the only thing I can say. This is a good topic. I don't watch Idol. I don't like the show. At all. I had heard of Adam while Season 8 was going on -- that there was this flamboyant gay kid who sang so well and kept advancing. To the extent I thought about it at all, I hoped he would win just as a thumb in the eye of "the man." Later that summer, I saw a copy of Rolling Stone at the newsstand. I didn't buy it, but I noticed Adam's picture, with the snake. I thought "Ay, chihuahua!? THAT'S Adam Lambert? I thought he was some gay teeny-bopper? That's some man -- he looks like Elvis!" Next time that Adam came into my consciousness was when I looked at the newspaper and saw that he had blown up the AMA's. I laughed my butt off. It had been so long since anything "rock and roll" had happened -- anything that wasn't canned and test-marketed. And for someone off of Idol, which is so manufactured, to blow the lid off the place was fantastic. I went and watched the performance and thought Oh My Freaking God. Well ... that's different. I watched it probably 20 times that day. Then I went back and watched the Idol stuff. I watched him on the CBS Morning Show. But the real turning point was when I rolled out of bed on January 1, 2010, and made it a point to find and watch the videos from Gridlock. Totally hooked on a daily basis ever since. What made me search? I think the reasons for each person are as personal as they are. Never having seen Adam on “Idol,” I wasn’t expecting the bad boy in a sweet disguise that many of you had come to know. The man I saw was the devil himself. I soon learned that Adam specialized in playing – that is, in assuming multiple and masquerading identities. I think he attracts fans who long to play (and repels those who feel threatened by the notion). My mom had died in February 2009 after a years-long horrible illness, and you have no idea how much I wanted to empty myself of my everyday, beaten-down persona and play again! I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you – Nobody – too? Then there’s a pair of us? Don’t tell! -- Emily DickinsonP.S. I hope that Adam will be getting a bunch of new fans soon. Having been a fan for 2 years now, but not having been a fan since "Mama," I dunno about the word "newbie." ??? I hope we will be welcoming and realize that Adam is for everyone, and new fans with new ideas are just as legit.

These were his earlier tweets: JEROMEBELLSINGS Jerome Bell Just got a call to go into the studio and do a song for @adamlambert Pray for my vocal cords LOL!!! 14 Oct
JEROMEBELLSINGS Jerome Bell Session last night went amazing!!! I sang notes I have never sang before in my LIFE!!! I really hope @adamlambert likes the song!!! I DO! 15 Oct »JEROMEBELLSINGS Jerome Bellby retweeted by Tatyana27121986 Finally met @adamlambert last night. Very cool guy and he was very excited about hearing the song!!!
This Guy's tweets are confusing. "Just got a call to go into the studio and do a song" "I really hope @adamlambert likes the song""he was very excited about hearing the song"Who called Him to sing this song that He hopes Adam will like? Is it a demo that He's trying to get Adam to listen to? And He said He met Adam last night and "He was very excited about Hearing the song", doesn't mean that Adam has listened to this song yet. Was that Adam just making polite chit-chat at the party? Has anybody asked Jerome on twitter what He means. He just seems to return tweets from people giving Him compliment? ??? ETA: I just read Q3's comment. It does sound like He's trying to pitch a song to Adam.

Anyone who has ever met Adam knows that he makes you feel like he's utterly delighted to meet you and finds everything you say engrossing and exciting. He has perfected the art of chit-chat. It's a gift

The current Idol winner singing the SSB at the World Series. (with a problem with the mic at the very beginning)
And Season 8 runner-up singing the same song at a military base.
Don't really need to comment, do I?

Q3, last time this album got pulled, RCA Ed made a post that said something like, "I can't believe RCA did it?!" He was happy! Why would this time be any different. Is it not important enough to deal with? But then why was it dealt with, by them last time? To me, it seems like this time would be more crucial than last year. Just curious on how you can just dismiss RCA like that. Seems to me that they would have the power and the personel to be the ones behind this. Not to mention it only took 10 days, which in my mind is pretty darn quick! ???
