does not work for me. I am using chrome...What do you mean by "thru superfan page"? I sign in with twitter...what else do I need to do? thx OK, up on the pink bar where you signed in, it will say "Hey Nica! You have eleventy billion points!" .. click on "my info" and a box will drop down. Click "view superfan profile". It will take you to a page with your avi and name, points earned and votes counted. Click on (I think it was) "add picks" and you can click Fan Army and then Adam. Now he will be on your superfan page. You can then click on "vote for my picks". Once there, there will be only two buttons, "vote" and "next'". (No place for posting a message to twitter or fb, which gives you fewer points, but we don't care about points once you have earned 500 votes.) Now, click "vote", then double-click "next" and you will have voted twice. Oh, this is so much quicker ... why didn't I try this sooner? Thank you.

The current Idol winner singing the SSB at the World Series. (with a problem with the mic at the very beginning) And Season 8 runner-up singing the same song at a military base. Don't really need to comment, do I? cassie, I know I live in NY where country is not even played on the radio. But we were in our local pub and it was on TV. Three customers actually put their hands over their ears. On the other hand, most of the people at MJ's were saying how great it was. Saying he used so much mellisma(sp) and changed the melody, it was genius, blah blah blah. I guess my hearing is totally different from his fans. Plus, I know he's a nice kid and I wish him well, but he's hard to watch (funny faces, weird holding of the microphone, etc.)

I am only getting 3 points per vote and the old way, I got 18 points per vote? What did I do wrong?

aspenI love your post. So true. I often wonder though about all these people that discovered Adam after AI, just watching a video clip and got into the rabbit hole along with the rest of us. I'm always interested to listen to their stories. What was it that made them search further about him? Usually (I must say ALWAYS) when I listen to a new artist and I love him, I just listen to the song, maybe buy his album etc. But I don't try to do a whole research about him. It's truly fascinating. Something magical happens when you listen to his voice, your feelings explode, just like us when we listened to "mama" that's the only thing I can say. This is a good topic. I don't watch Idol. I don't like the show. At all. I had heard of Adam while Season 8 was going on -- that there was this flamboyant gay kid who sang so well and kept advancing. To the extent I thought about it at all, I hoped he would win just as a thumb in the eye of "the man." Later that summer, I saw a copy of Rolling Stone at the newsstand. I didn't buy it, but I noticed Adam's picture, with the snake. I thought "Ay, chihuahua!? THAT'S Adam Lambert? I thought he was some gay teeny-bopper? That's some man -- he looks like Elvis!" Next time that Adam came into my consciousness was when I looked at the newspaper and saw that he had blown up the AMA's. I laughed my butt off. It had been so long since anything "rock and roll" had happened -- anything that wasn't canned and test-marketed. And for someone off of Idol, which is so manufactured, to blow the lid off the place was fantastic. I went and watched the performance and thought Oh My Freaking God. Well ... that's different. I watched it probably 20 times that day. Then I went back and watched the Idol stuff. I watched him on the CBS Morning Show. But the real turning point was when I rolled out of bed on January 1, 2010, and made it a point to find and watch the videos from Gridlock. Totally hooked on a daily basis ever since. What made me search? I think the reasons for each person are as personal as they are. Never having seen Adam on “Idol,” I wasn’t expecting the bad boy in a sweet disguise that many of you had come to know. The man I saw was the devil himself. I soon learned that Adam specialized in playing – that is, in assuming multiple and masquerading identities. I think he attracts fans who long to play (and repels those who feel threatened by the notion). My mom had died in February 2009 after a years-long horrible illness, and you have no idea how much I wanted to empty myself of my everyday, beaten-down persona and play again! I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you – Nobody – too? Then there’s a pair of us? Don’t tell! -- Emily DickinsonP.S. I hope that Adam will be getting a bunch of new fans soon. Having been a fan for 2 years now, but not having been a fan since "Mama," I dunno about the word "newbie." ??? I hope we will be welcoming and realize that Adam is for everyone, and new fans with new ideas are just as legit. Juniemoon, I love your posts and this one in particular struck a chord with me. I never thought of my attraction to Adam as a desire to "play" again. I always connected it to needing to express myself, not conforming to the expectations of society, facing fears, etc. For the last couple of years I have been trying to figure out the meaning behind my attraction. Maybe that has been why I have never understood--I have been too cerebral in trying to understand something that is so simple and carefree. It is not something I am supposed to understand. It is as basic as needing to play. I have always tried to be older than I am--my grandmother's favorite story about me was my angry response to her when she called me "a cute little girl." I was vehement in my response, "I'm not little!!!"--I wasn't even 2 years old. I have always surrounded myself with an older group of people. I am the youngest of my siblings by almost ten years. I even skipped a grade in middle school because my teachers noticed that all my friends were a grade above, and I didn't fit in with the younger girls. I am always the youngest among my friends and I am often the person from whom they seek advice. Heck, I'm even one of the younger members of this "nursing home" . I will be 40 on my next birthday and it is about time for me to stop being so serious and start playing!! And Glamnana

Don't really need to comment, do I? I made the same comparison with Kris Allen and Adam. No need to comment that either. There is no one like Adam! Here is Kris': www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1JOuOQ0SB4
