Just an Adam Fan Okay, so reading on Amazon that the "DOD" in the listing for BFM means Disc on Demand. Found this old article where Universal announced this service. bit.ly/ptjmGH

Buders I noticed that yesterday. Think he was trying to square it up on that side. Don''t know why he would want to intentionally recede a beautiful hairline..sigh. I don't mind the shaving around the ears, but that area up and in front of the temple is strange. Do we have an up front, head on pic that shows both sides at the same time....maybe the whole looks better than the parts. HEY!!!What if they shaved his temples (ish) in order to be able to glue something to them during the photoshoot?? I know it's a stretch but it's driving me nuts wondering why they did that. Does a Franken-temple make you look younger??

Balances out the lower (fuller) part of his face? I think it looks weird too....sure don't think it makes him look younger.

Don't like the shaved temples AT ALL. Noticed it right away. I'm loving the shave above and around the ears - - but, why did 'they' fool with the hairline? Adam looks at everything with a critical, analytical eye. I'm hoping he's noticed from the photos at SYTYCDrag, and even the ones on the sidewalk of NYC, that he isn't doing himself any favors with the 'Franken' look. JMHO

Who knows what goes thru Adam's beautiful head when it comes to his hair. I know it will change, just hope we get that crazy shaved section back before the TV appearances.....but we might not!.... The hair does get a lotta press. Normally it screams look at me, look at me...I'm gorgeous. But this cut screams WTF? LOL (I really do like the high top though...I loved The Music Box hair

I don't understand how would BFM qualify for a "Classic Out-of-Print CDs"? It's not classic and it's never been released. I wouldn't put it past the sleazeballs to drum up anything to make a buck.

And they only print the number they need. Don't have to put money into stock and no leftovers. Still wouldn't buy it if it was 50 cents!!!

I think they blew their budget, saw very few pre-orders, and decided to push this thing through the cheapest way possible. You want one they make one. It's pitiful in a way that they are so determined to do it their way. They have to know that presented upfront as old CV tracks at a different stage in Adam's album cycle the reception would have been far different. I'm not worried about it anymore. The good crap far outweighs the bad crap and I am so high on Adam and Nile right now nothing can bring me down.

As I understand it, DOD is for recordings that have a very limited market. They are not mass marketed, they are not distributed to any RL stores, they are printed one at a time, as someone orders them. If my understanding is correct, this will have a very minimal impact on Adam. Still won't buy it. Still wish it was not available in any form. But, Adam #2 will be just fine. It will get mega press with title and album cover splashed all over. Those few who ordered this by mistake will probably be pissed and return it to Amazon.
