As I understand it, DOD is for recordings that have a very limited market. They are not mass marketed, they are not distributed to any RL stores, they are printed one at a time, as someone orders them. If my understanding is correct, this will have a very minimal impact on Adam. Still won't buy it. Still wish it was not available in any form. But, Adam #2 will be just fine. It will get mega press with title and album cover splashed all over. Those few who ordered this by mistake will probably be pissed and return it to Amazon. So no Walmart, Target, KMart impulse buys. That's good.

I can see why they would do this. Amazon is the distributor? And they only print the number they need. Don't have to put money into stock and no leftovers. Still wouldn't buy it if it was 50 cents!!! Reading all of this makes me feel so much better. I was not really worried about Adam, more hurt for him that at this time in his career this would happen. So no more from me on this subject. Totally staying in my happy place and watching the Niles story unfold. Oh and Tinafea. I will never look at someone's @ replies again

Soulmate: Sorry, missed this request when I quickly scanned through the thread yesterday. Here are two honey versions that are begging for some clever logos.

OK, I''ve had a glass or two of my favorite Pinot, but......I was looking at AFL's Wikipedia profile (?) and found this, which is quite disconcerting: "From December 2006 to May 2007,[20] Lambert briefly moonlighted as the front man for underground rock band The Citizen Vein with Steve Sidelnyk, Tommy Victor and Monte Pittman.[21] Lambert also met producer Malcolm Welsford in 2005, who claims to have helped develop his recording career.[22]" WTF?????????

annkpowers @annkpowers Los Angeles, California writer, a-mama, poptimist trying to eat right and live present in a high-fructose world www.npr.org/music/. @annkpowers Adam Lambert and @nilerodgers collabo makes perfect sense to me -- both curious confident artistes. Can't wait to hear!

Do you know if that's been recently added? Anybody can mess around with Wiki pages right?
