Bringing this over from late last night.You know, y'all, if Adam keeps getting these opportunities to work with all these mammoth, great people, he may never finish this album!!! He'll just keep on laying down one awesome track after another. He must be near 50 now! So, I got an idea: Adam, I know you are in such a fantastic place creating music you love with people you admire. It is probably the best high you have ever had in your life. We don't want you to stop. But we want new music! How about you release an album subscription? One new album or EP per month for the next year. We promise we will buy them all. Hell, we will buy multiple copies of each and give them to friends, family, our dentists, our teachers, our co-workers, our landscapers, and the people standing in the check-out lanes with us. We don't want any of your awesomeness to go to waste. Release it all. Avalanche us! Cassie, I love this subscription idea! So something like it. We know the music business has to change. Maybe not to subscription. But since so many people by only singles, will there be any point to an album as time passes? Why not release music a little here, a little there?

This day has been heart stopping, inspiring, gratifying, and validating - to both us AND Adam. Validating is a great word. It is one thing to find Adam, see and hear the amazing voice, stage presence and abilities, and KNOW there is greatness. And then try to convince someone else with ... I dunno ... Strut. Now I know the album is going to have songs on it worthy of Adam's talent. Something like that is a huge challenge for even the most talented (Elvis struggled). I sure hope they don't pull the rug out from under us about the single! So ready to get started! |
