I love this subscription idea! So something like it. We know the music business has to change. Maybe not to subscription. But since so many people by only singles, will there be any point to an album as time passes? Why not release music a little here, a little there? Didn't we just this week read an article about a band that does just that? They record off and on, alternating with live shows, and release singles as they are completed. I seem to remember that a song could be released immediately upon completion, like that very day. And because there was no huge album promotion their "tours" were more like weeks instead of months and much easier on them in every way. Curse my hippie brain for not being able to remember where I was reading about this, but I am fairly sure I got the link here and it was definitely within the last week. Singles and EP's are the way it's going to be and this new model seems to fit the bill.
