A single in JANUAURY??? I don't know if this is good or bad, but from all I have seen from the Twitter pundits is that dropping a single in January is a terrible idea. Bah. I don't understand why RCA is letting this twist in the wind...I dunno why they wouldn't want to get it out as soon as possible, after all I find it hard to believe that Adam is completely running the show and/or that all the new management shit isn't worked out yet. I am not usually a Chicken Little but....

Actually it doesn't take that much time to put a band together. Adam is in LA. Great musicians are plentiful and Adam probably knows many already, that he could just call. It would only take a matter of days. And, Adam's promo will be for the first single, so rehearsals only need to be a few days. He won't be previewing the whole album on the single promo. Maybe the new single and if he does some radio promos, maybe one more song. Outlaws of Love perhaps?
I expect Tommy, Cam, and Isaac to be in the band. So Adam would not have that many people to audition and for all we know, RCA or DMG could be setting that all up right now.

Everybody is just tired of waiting. Me included. I agree that RCA isn't going to say anything today with it being Kelly's release date. The people on twitter and everywhere else are just speculating. |
