OK, I know that this poll is unimportant. I know that Q102 only wants hits on their site. I know that it is ridiculous to even pit Adam vs Archie, but... I JUST CAN'T STAND LOSING!!!!!!!!!!! @q102 Philly "Whoa! This is not a who is hot contest (from my perspective) ...this is a fanbase contest. I like the contests that let you vote 1-5 times.... the same applies to AI type contests. It is not who is the favorite but whose fans have the most time on their hands to vote. I hope Archie wins by a whole bunch...see how many hits their site gets when they announce the winner as Archie. (Who knows maybe a lot.)I for one will not be clicking on that one. Will they then play his music??... maybe from last year's Christmas album. Yes..I know bad Adam fan! But the value has to be there for me. |

Here is the Q102 Jingle Ball photo for guessing who will be there. See anyone who looks like Adam? I don't and I don't think the timing is right for Adam this year. Who knows, with a single being release soon, like tomorrow, keeping fingers crossed..(LOL) he could promote his single but what else. WOuld he do old covers. I'm not sure, he would perform. But either way, I went last year and it was a Bieber fest and I don't want to go thru that again. BTW, I'm still voting. I don't want to lose by too great of a margin. |

Yep I was hoping to be entertained.. but, looks like some of us are voting.. things look pretty close now.. 45%-55% close.. or maybe q102 couldn't take it and manip'ed alitte.. Archuleta's first album after Idol sold well -- about 800,000 copies. His latest album, released last October, tanked; it sold less than 70,000 copies in its first 3 months after release. He was also dropped by Jive Records earlier this year. So his career is in "transition" right now (meaning, he's trying to figure out who he wants to be musically). However, he has a core group of fans who vote like mad in every poll -- IMO his showing in polls like this far outstrips his actual popularity right now. Q3 comment: Not to start and Archie conversation but to be accurate -- Archie was offered a revised contract with Jive (with less favorable financial terms, a tight schedule and less creative control) but turned the revised contract offer. |

The pic in the top right is most likely Bruno Mars. There is very little chance we will see Adam at any of these JBBs this year. They haven't even announced the single, yet. Once the single is announced, you are still looking at around three weeks until the major promo starts and until we get to hear it. If the record label drops a lead single from an album without the build-up, press, etc., that is what would be worrisome! |

It just seems so wrong! LMAO My thoughts exactly....in fact I think it makes much more of a statement if Archie wins by a landslide - then they'd know Gamberts weren't voting in that round. A half-ass result makes us look....well....half-assed! LOL!! If we were voting against someone who made sense (dear lord, there are lots of hot guys out there), I'd continue voting....but this is just embarrassing for all parties involved....
