Good news! 3 out of the 5 radio stations that added #Superpower by @adamlambert have been playing the song in the last week! 🎉 (Period 2 - 8 Oct) The Las Vegas station hasn't officially added Superpower yet. #VelvetSideA 💚 Check it out here: empire.lnk.to/VELVETEach radio add is great news to me! Would love to see more. Hope we hear soon about the rescheduling of Corden and The Talk. I am in a bad "No Adam" mode since he's been absent for these days. PLEASE COME BACK SOON! Strange about Instagram. Haven't a clue about why they made the changes. I can just visualize Astrophysicist Brian May trying to figure out his Instagram account! It's one thing to understand the mysteries of outer space, but it's quite another thing to figure out the mysteries of a media photo app. LOL Ahhh, technology.

I wish there was a setting in Twitter to turn off to seeing people’s likes. Clutters my timeline up and usually stuff I don’t care about. As for selfies, I can’t think of something less interesting than a photo of only oneself. Especially in a mirror. I’ve never understood the appeal it. Maybe if I was alone and trying to capture something super interesting in the background with me in it? But that’s about it and usually I prefer a photo without my head in the way IKR about Twitter likes. I have lots of my followers/friends muted because of their excessive amount of Twitter likes...mostly political stuff....hundreds per day. I can turn off their RTs...which are really numerous as well....but not their likes.

The electric company is shutting down electricity in some locations because of extreme fire danger and wind. Many fires are caused by downed power lines. We're in the Santa Cruz mountains and we still have power...so far so good. I just found out about this last night, hubby just happened to drop the news, and then couldn't find any links that said whether we were included or not. Today I went to get gas, and the lines looked like people were fleeing the area, for heaven's sake. Went to the hardware store because we don't even have any lanterns, and they were already out of lanterns, propane, etc. Oy. Hope they skip us. At least I made sure the phones and my Kindle were charged last night. I think we need to stock up on emergency stuff...we're definitely NOT ready for a big storm or power outage.

I changed the link as the new one I think has the area mapped out better.
What they are doing is totally nuts. People need their own generators now.

Since they were sued for not taking enough precautions with downed lines last year, it is totally reasonable to expect that they would be far more cautious this year.

How about repairing the lines. Other states don't shut off the power.
