How about repairing the lines. Other states don't shut off the power. It isn’t a repair issue. It’s that the wind can knock down lines or knock down trees or branches into the lines, and the arcing can start a fire in the dry conditions.

Yup. The schedule was VERY puzzling from the beginning...and I sure hope the cancellation was due to that and not his health issue...right? Wouldn't his team know that? Would they book him and announce him without his acceptance? Whatever the reason, I'm just glad that he seems to be okay. Maybe not -- since he has new management and he is not "that" Jewish. Maybe we'll find out someday.
I just was picturing him getting a call from his mom! (It is a funny idea anyway!)

Is it possible that Adam rescheduled the Late, Late Show and The Talk because they were on Yom Kippur? Just a thought. It was an odd day to book him on these shows. I thought your source said it was due to illness? I don't recall Adam ever scheduling events around Jewish holidays. I don't think he even observes most of them. Yes, someone at CBS told me it was due to illness. And other fans were told similar things by other people. But I am skeptical because who knows they are going to be sick in 72 - 48 hours? As I headed to Temple, I wondered if it was due to the date.
I went back and looked and could not find a public event on Yom Kippur.
In 2018, QAL did not perform a Vegas concert on Yom Kippur.
In 2017 he was on his way to Greece.
In 2016 recorded episodes of X-Factor were broadcast.
In 2015, he had no events on Yom Kippur.
And that is as far back as I went. Probably he did something public on Yom Kippur in 2014.

I wish there was a setting in Twitter to turn off to seeing people’s likes. Clutters my timeline up and usually stuff I don’t care about. As for selfies, I can’t think of something less interesting than a photo of only oneself. Especially in a mirror. I’ve never understood the appeal it. Maybe if I was alone and trying to capture something super interesting in the background with me in it? But that’s about it and usually I prefer a photo without my head in the way IKR about Twitter likes. I have lots of my followers/friends muted because of their excessive amount of Twitter likes...mostly political stuff....hundreds per day. I can turn off their RTs...which are really numerous as well....but not their likes. You can get rid of the likes of you use the newest tweets option instead of the start page one. I always use the first as it also give the tweets in Chronological order. Click on the star sign on the top of the page / app to change that.

I love seeing pictures of Adam because he is of great interest to me. His looks, accomplishments and dynamic career are all major pluses. Tho, most of the time they are not selfies but business, promotion, photo shoots and career related. I grew tired of seeing his friends posting picture of themselves a longggg time ago. Terrance in a mirror with his shirt off or Javi in a mirror with his shirt off, or Johnny with his butt out, lol. I like his friends and BF but my interest in Adam does not extend to them, in a major way, unless they are with him. Even then when they overtake the pictures with attention grabbing poses, I generally tune out even if Adam is in the picture, acting like the non-celebrity. I know a lot of people of any age post pictures of themselves. However, so many end up here (not sure they intend for that to happen), not because of some interesting career or accomplishments, but simply because they are friends of Adam. I think that makes it a little more boring and less interesting, at least it does to me, when there is a lot of it. But some enjoy it so I scroll. HA! You have summed up my thoughts exactly. I wish I didn’t come across Javi sans Adam very much at all. I wasn’t around for the Sauli years. Is this just how it is? I know...I scroll too.

Maybe he wanted to give the shows some advance notice if he was feeling the least bit off still so they could find a replacement. I think he was the only guest scheduled for the Talk, so the show would probably appreciate the heads up.
