....Yes, fans of always-chic electro Idol Lambert, and of awesome music in general, had much to squee about this past weekend--after Adam, Nile, and frequent Adam collaborator Sam Sparro exchanged tweets over a couple days in a pulse-quickening buildup to a soon-to-be-legendary jam session. The results of their weekend labor were then posted on YouTube--and while the clip is a huge tease, since its sound is switched off to "protect the integrity of the song," Nile and Adam certainly seem to be having a blast in the studio and getting, to quote Madonna, into the groove. .
Considering Nile's impeccable flair for crafting pop/rock/funk/dance music with both mainstream appeal and a certain tastemaker-friendly coolness factor--much of it recorded by iconic artists whom Adam has cited as personal influences--the potential for epic-ness here is major. I can only imagine how much everyone is going to le-freak out once the volume is finally cranked up on this: .

I just love the look of supperclub and thought it would be great if we all could experience this club. I can see it now – Atops finest take over the Ibiza supperclub for a night or two. They have said they can “can produce a supperclub event anyplace you might like”. So how about in digital space. Wonder how much they would charge for a virtual event.
Imagine, if you will, a virtual supperclub with real supperclub food delivered just in time for a global event. Virtual treats from our own HSM. And locations all over the globe connected in cyberspace sharing the same entertainment event. The star act – of course, Adam Lambert.
The old Q3 would have said impossible; the new Q3, post Nile Rodgers + Adam collab, now believes anything amazing is possible. All I can say is “Let’s Dance”.
And just cause it seems right and Niles + Adam is still in the news....

The latest version of “Beg for Mercy” [Universal Music DOD] has now vanished again. My bet is that it will be back again. Who needs soap operas when we have the BFM/Take Two/On with the Show Saga.
I other related “news”, there was finally a statement posted on AdamOfficial.com about BFM. It really just confirmed with fans already knew. I find it a little odd that the album vanished on the same day this statement appears.

"Beg For Mercy" is a song recorded LONG before idol. It is NOT a new song, it has just been packaged as a new song. It was recorded before his contract with RCA/19/Sony so we have no control over it. The person who owns the rights has chosen to sell it, and they are technically within their rights. However, we will say it again, this is NOT an official release, and it is not a new song by any means. Please spread the word.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month and What’s Trending is planning a special live town hall on Thursday, October 27th, 3:00-4:00PM(PST). We hope that you can join us.
What’s Trending with Shira Lazar will host a livestreaming conversation about cyberbullying and what we can do educate and help our communities around this issue. The Trevor Project, The Kind Campaign, Do Something, GLSEN, and MTV’s A Thin Line Campaign will all be participating, as well as notable celebrities and personalities that will appear in studio and over Skype.
Our hope is to create a forum to share stories, answer questions and come up with real world actions that can help to stop bullying. The livestream will be broadcast through Livestream and Ustream. Additionally, look out for #stopbullying as a Twitter topic trend next week.
