Oh God. That hair is bad. Like so bad I am yeaning for the return of the glamweave. It makes his forehead look like a mutated fivehead. Srsly....he looks like a special snowflake here and not in a good way.
I am perplexed.

I choose to see these boots as him relaxing. The entire look is a bit sloppy but it's mostly because we see him so done up all the time (and because Sauli is so very HOT in the photos). My favorite looks for him are when he isn't trying so hard and wears a basic jeans because I feel we see a little more of the real Adam....Now, why anyone would spend so much money on any shoes, let alone these, is something I really have a hard time accepting.

This might sound like heresy, but I actually think our little Sauli outshone his BF last nite.....dayum! ITA. He is looking fantastic. The new hair not my favorite for all pic angles. It looks better in some than in others. I love Adam, and I get that he likes doing crazy hair situations for effect, but I'll be glad when he moves on to the next one. ;D

As for the hair, I'm not a fan either but something tells me not to call it BAD because Adam will continue to surprise us with crazy looks. This is probably pretty conservative on the scale he'll present in time. I think his goal is to be different more than it is to be gorgeous. The gorgeous just comes--even with "bad" cuts.

What I've realized (and this is just me, personally -- not in any way a judgement of what's fun or right for others -- not even beating myself up about following Adam's every doing so closely all this year) is that stanning wears me out, and is not that fun for me. If we continue the sex analogy ... well, let's not ... but you get the idea. Since Grammy week, there have been three new things that I really loved and wouldn't have wanted to miss: Maxidrom, St. Agathe (Outlaws of Love), and Behind the Music. I could catch up on them in three hours. I believe that next time, I will TRY to let my Adam interest go dormant between albums. I won't make a fetish of it, but I'll make it a point to step away from the daily search for that little hit of excitement. Maybe check in once a week and see what's going on, right-click a few pictures. Go discover new music. Come back when there's a release date, catch up with everybody, and jump back in with both feet. I remember that worked really well back in the day before the Internet. I loved Springsteen, and he took a loooong time between albums. It just wasn't possible back then to have daily hits of an artist, so you just had to move on. And then it was SO EXCITING when there was something new finally! And he had a new look! And maybe a new band ... and you didn't know what happened so instead of you were :D. And you could even mark different eras of your life by the various albums. We'll see if I can stick to it when the time comes. It's too late not to have gone nuts for this go-round. Since this post has been mentioned a few times today, I wanted to add my feelings on the differences from being a casual stan and a STAN. I wondered what all would have missed if I stopped following Adam after he ended "the music and performances". (which I assume meant his concerts) Of course, if we weren't stanning Adam, we would have never known about all those amazing concert performances in 2010. A casual fan would have attended the concert in their area and would have missed out on hundreds of jaw dropping vocals, sexy moves, and visually amazing moments. Even though January 2011 was a VERY SLOW month, here are a few highlights: January: *Pictures from NYE are leaked- Adam has facial hair! *Official announcement of the GRAMMY Nominees Album. Adam made the 2011 Grammy CD! *E! YT: Fashion Police: Joan Rivers Talks About Adam's Harem Pants. : *Adam asks fans to donate to Charity: Water, his new international charity, for his 29th birthday. *The new season of American Idol includes Adam in their opening sequence. Only three “non-winners” are included. *Adam attends an Elton John benefit concert for the American Foundation for Equal Rights. Jane Lynch is excited to meet Adam! AP video: Jane Lynch, Adam, and Jason Mraz speaking about marriage rights. *American Idol is releasing a 10th Anniversary album. It will include songs from @adamlambert and @kelly_clarkson. *Adam is releasing a revamped version of AFTERMATH. Proceeds to benefit The Trevor Project. *Of course, it’s Adam’s birthday! Adam's charity water goal of $290k is reached! There are tweets, articles and press mentions from all over the world from those who are both impressed and grateful with the donations. *Adam becomes a Godfather to the Cherry’s baby. We get adorable pictures of Adam and little Riff. February coming....

Just for the record, tigerlily, that isn't the post of mine that people have mentioned today. The one you refer to is from yesterday's thread and was merely a response to a question from seoulmate.
The post some have been nice about today was the essay called The Shaman that Q3 was kind enough to put in today's OP. Thanks and carry on.

Ok, I must be crazy. Am I the only one who likes the geometrical design of his hair? What's wrong with me?!! Agree on the boots though. They just look messy. i like his hair too. please don't tell anyone. ETA: Thanks, ljsmack! Thanks for joining me out on the tree limb! Don't think we have to worry about it breaking. I enjoyed your essay this morning!

About the hair, I am choosing to believe that Adam is reaching out to the male thinning hair demographic ... encouraging them to shave those struggling locks and embrace unique graphics.
