Just for comparison purposes, these are the projected first week of sales for Kelly's album, after one day. Since she is an Idol, Pop, and sells internationally as well, I don't think her numbers are irrelevant to Adam Hmm, some people are bemoaning that her sales seems low, saying they were expecting more of the ~200k range. But thinking about Adam, and if he releases in February or March, I'll be happy with anything above $50k, but will be over the moon if it's more like $80-150k Nahh, I don't think Kelly's is low. But 50K, Yikes! That would be low and very disappointing!

Was checking European Current Hairstyles, I see someone else thought the same thing ;D European Haircuts for Men By Ralph Heibutzki, eHow Contributor Since the 1960s, European fashion trends have provided an alternative inspiration for American male hairstyles. Once confined to actors, models and musicians, European haircuts have been gaining ground among American men looking for something beyond the standard issue close-cropped hairdo. European styles range from variations on bowl and crew cuts, to flowing mullets and rockabilly-flavored pompadours that require varying degrees of maintenance. In many cases, the styles are driven by celebrities such as British soccer star David Beckham, whose constant image changes ensure that no trend stays dominant for long. Short Back and Sides Close clipper cuts have outlasted many trends. One of the most popular is the "short back and sides," according to startabarbers.co.uk. The name refers to the close cut applied to the neck and sides of the head. The hair is left longer on top. Other popular options include the flattop--in which the top of the hair is cut into a flat surface--and the crew cut, whose quarter-inch length demands little maintenance. Faux Hawks and Mullets Popularized by British soccer stars, such as David Beckham, the "faux hawk" has been making inroads into American fashion as well, according to The Chicago Tribune. Instead of shaving the sides and middle of the head, the faux hawk only requires longer hair in those areas, the newspaper reported. Another notable variation is the mullet, commonly associated with 1970s glam rock culture. The style combines a short front and sides cut with shoulder-length or even longer hair in the back. The Rockabilly Pompadour The pompadour reigns supreme in rockabilly culture, whose popularity has never waned in Europe. The look is essentially achieved by slicking the hair back with lots of grease, according to www.rockabillyhairstyle.com. The hair is left long on top, while short on the back and sides. The hair is combed back and then made to stand up--using beeswax, or a firm holding gel, according to the website. The Punk Rock Lock Mohawks require substances like egg whites and holding gels to keep them standing. The 1970's and 1980's British punk rock era provides a different inspiration for men who want to turn heads. The predominant style is the Mohawk, whose thick strip of hair can be cut in asymmetrical or irregular ways, according to your-hairstyles.com. Applications of different color complete the effect. The most common variations include the "Liberty Spikes," so nicknamed for their resemblance to the famed statute that greets visitors to America. Dreadlocks and Bowl Cuts Braids have provided men a sleeker, discreet alternative to the flamboyance of dreadlocks. Reggae music lovers lean toward dreadlocks, the term given to interlocked links of hair that have been allowed to grow without grooming, according to www.startabarbers.co.uk. The individual knotted and matted strands are then called "dreads." Men wanting less maintenance can opt for the bowl cut, which once meant placing a bowl on the head, and cutting off any locks that stuck out underneath. The resulting look is longer on top, with no blending of any kind. Read more: European Haircuts for Men | eHow.com www.ehow.com/list_7183852_european-haircuts-men.html#ixzz1bwIfvu9d

I still don't know what a soccer-mom haircut is. Does it just mean short hair??? Anyhow, my hair is shoulder length, and I'm still whining about Adam's style. : Dunno what soccer-mom hair is either. I think that was just a swipe at our age....which is funny, cuz I see a hella lot of young people with very dated hair styles. I love my hair, btw....*preens

I will love Emo until Emo comes back into style again. #committedemolover (Remember Scotland...remember Scotland...) LOL! Yes, dream on! I also loved the emo hair, but it is "out" right now. Don't give up hope- it will come back someday.

Regarding Adam's hair, I don't really care anymore. I think my fave hairstyle of his is one that is universally hated or disliked on this board. So I'm like whatever, Adam will do whatever he wants, I can't build of the strength to care, unless it's something incredibly drastic, like that time when he did one of the revolving stage, tent concerts, where he shaved off the side of his head and hair was unkempt and he looked like he had a dead rat on the top of his head. But yeah, other then that, it's just hair, and it really doesn't look to bad to me. I don't hate it or love, it's just there. I hope I'm not jumping on anyone, I know that we're just being silly on this board, talking about his hair, because it's such a slow day. :(

Jeeze, people, I think we're getting a little carried away with the hair angst. It's hair for christsakes. It's not my favorite, but whatever. It will grow back; he shaved that big chunk out of it during GNT and it made all the news rounds and most people just laughed and said, "Oh, Adam!" Now we're flinging ourselves off cliffs about this? Maybe his stylist tried something tricky for the photoshoot and they had to commit (like Sutan and the rhinestones) Adam said WTF then and he probably said WTF this time. Sometimes, however, it's the growing-out part that is not so easy (as anyone who has ever just snipped off a tiny piece that was "not cooperating" knows). Once that happens, your screwed and you just have to let it go through a majorly awkward phase until it grows out. And he can't even see the back of his neck to do some kind of head size/body size scale-ratio calculation. My bro-in-law wears a size 8.5 hat and he's pretty much bald; he keeps the hair he does have very short because it's what looks best with male-pattern baldness. I don't think he ever once said, "My head's too big for me to wear this haircut." My scrolling finger was getting out of shape when the Monte situation died down, now it's getting muscled up again with all the friggin' hair talk. It's HAIR! Think of all the times when you were growing up and your mom, grandmother, sister, cousin, friend didn't like your hair and you pretty much told them to buzz off because it was YOUR HAIR.

I mean if he would have dropped during the holiday season, I was thinking that it'll be like 100k-150k at least. But during first quarter, I don't think it'll be too high.
