hmmm... in any case it was still the 6th in USA. And if they celebrate the anniversary in LA, it would be the 6th?? IMHO  Yeah,you are right Bobo  . Nov 6th then. So how's this for fanwanking- Adam knows his schedule will be too nuts for a proper November 6th celebration ( due to the single being released and the unrelenting promo and travel involved) so they had a romantic dinner last night a bit early. Yeah, I'm reaching. But it is possible! |

juniemoon... thank you for your wonderfully thought-provoking essay!!  I know there's definitely been more fun in my life in the past two years, but that is directly connected to this community of funny, flailing, crazy, thoughtful, intelligent, impassioned ATop people. And I know that Adam and this community has re-awakened all my old hippie activism. And my language has deteriorated. I find myself quite regularly saying "fuck fuck fuckity fuck..." and my kids are all --->  Oh my, this must be a side effect. I don't think I've said "fuck" in a few years, not even under my breath. As I look back, maybe it's because I wasn't passionate enough about anything. That has changed and along with smiling like a fool in the car with Adam blaring and putting the world into perspective - as long as things are happy and hopeful in Adamland, fuck Gaddafi AND the Republican debates - most days I feel like Super Woman, like nothing can get me down. This tweet was the icing on the cake. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SCORPIO. Reality is grossly overrated. |

Happy morning!!
I take this part of Adam's tweet --- "Just did two phone interviews today ....." as a good sign that the promotional cycle is starting FIANLLY!!!
Up until now the recent events were one-offs that Adam wanted to do (The Advocate, Project Runway) or something that happened at the last minute (SYTYCDrag). The only other event we know about is M&M which is a Sony Project and not really a promotional event.
When an artist starts to do back-to-back phone interviews -- that starts to sound like a promotional schedule.
Now I want a new single, radio and print interviews and to see Adam on TV.

It is really hard to get a nomination which is the next step. Voting members of the Grammy Academy select the nominees from this list. And there will be thousands of ballots cast. The only certainty is that Adele will get a ton of nominations and Grammys. |
