Also want to add that the argument about opinions is correct, but just the fact that all these opinions are coming from such a joyless, critical place each person who beats negativity to death is sad. If Adam makes you negative or sad or critical, step away for a few days, find the sunshine and come back with a brighter attitude. YMMV but I am a very joyful person, but I reserve to wank on his hair if I want to. I do it because it's silly and harmless imo and I know at least *I* am just joking about it. I am srsly not up at night worrying over his hair. Also I am the kind of person that will never ever kiss his ass just because I am a fan. I am gonna speak my mind and lol over things I find lulzy and rage over things I find ragey and so on and so forth, and frankly I am a little tired of fans playing the card that if you choose to discuss negative things or express a negative opinion that you need to turn in your fan card or reevaluate your life or something....it's not that deep. If you don;t like his hair--fine. If you do--great. Jebus. I am not gonna censor myself over something so trivial. And like Forrest Gump would say.... And that's all I have to say about that.  lmaoooooo..... I am also a very joyful person, and y'all know I love nothing better than to flail, even when there's not a lot to flail about. But I also reserve the right to whine and bitch about stuff when the spirit moves me. If every ATopper who ain't lovin' the hair took a leave of absence, the thread would probably be reduced to a couple of pages, LOL. :  Over the past couple of days when new pics have been posted, my scrolling finger has developed whiplash.  |

I've done my fair share of being critical about Adam. For example I"m not pleased that he's politickingvotes for a favorite on a show where he was a judge. Just makes my nose wrinkle and my lips thin. I like it when people have differing opinions. The slow days when we have nothing to discuss are soooo boooring.

I think the concern on the hair wanking is that for some it seems to be a huge, great big, giant, the world is going to end, deal. The usual joking around about "hating" his hair is normal and I think most of us enjoy it, but some of the posts (only a few I've seen here, but many more "out there" on twitter and other sites) have been extreme and actually SERIOUS that the hair is somehow destroying their fanning and love for Adam. There are even wackos tweeting directly at Adam that he is now "ugly" and his fans are all going to leave. (probably the usual haters, but they are getting their amunition from fans who seem to have freeked out over the hair out of all proportion to where it stands in the ultimate scheme of things.) Chunkey - I'm pretty sure everyone gets that your "hair wanking" is tounge in cheek and all in fun. At least, I always chuckle when I read your posts! |

Nothing to do with outcome of show. IMO, YMMV |

One Adam, so many hairstyles. Aww man! I love his hair in the 24th pic. (waits for everyone to go find the 24th pic.  Hmm, wondering if it's really the hair that I love. I'll have to ruminate on that. It's ten in the morning at my Taco Bell so too early to go to my happy place. Not sure I can brave another day of hair gate without some fortification. I would scroll but I think all the scrolling I've done lately has given me carpal tunnel. Another reason to find a painkiller. Heh heh. I jest, you guys, I jest. Laugh with me. |
