"Instead of waiting for one day a year on which to play dress-up, he is brave enough to play every single day, and he wishes more of us would do the same. Adam loves Halloween not because it is a momentary escape for his inner child, but because for one day, everyone comes out to play with him." I'd have to go with Susie on this and say the permanent living situation started when Sauli came in March. He's been here ever since except for that one visit back to Helsinki, when Adam went to Moscow and London.

Just caught up with the thread! - What gorgeous, smoking hot vampires!! - The dachshunds as bananas ---- who thinks of these things??? - Adam-Sauli timeline mavins --- very impressive. I know the sequence of events but not the dates. I would need to do some research. (And when I searched on Google for the info --- it took me here!!) - Mischief Night was not universally known even in the US and it is celebrated differently in different places. It is most common in the parts of the US that were settled by people from the UK and Ireland in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is an American tradition based on ancient Celtic traditions. I do not recall it when I lived on the west coast or in the southwest US. In the Southeast -- there is a lot of teepee-ing of trees -- that is covering trees with toilet paper. In the Northeast and Great Lakes -- egg throwing is commonplace. Here is a report post-Mischief Night from the a small town in eastern PA from 2010: Phillipsburg police reported several instances of criminal mischief Saturday night and Sunday.
On Saturday night, which was mischief night, police said:
A swimming pool liner was cut in the 200 block of Firth Street;
A car windshield, windows, license plate and tires were spray-painted white in the first block of Washington Street;
Two vehicle windows were smashed in the 100 block of Mercer Street;
Two house windows were smashed, also in the 100 block of Mercer Street.
On Sunday, property owners reported house windows smashed in the first block of Wilson Street, the first block of Sitgreaves Street and the 200 block of Filmore Street.
Police also said two car hoods were scratched, possibly with a piece of glass, in the 200 block of Mercer Street.
Police said they also had numerous reports of homes and autos being vandalized with eggs over the weekend.
Also, police said, someone shot the railroad tower near the black bridge with paint balls and spray-painted the tower’s west wall.Link: www.lehighvalleylive.com/phillipsburg/index.ssf/2010/11/vandals_strike_phillipsburg_on.html

He's been here ever since except for that one visit back to Helsinki, when Adam went to Moscow and London. Between end of March and end of May Sauli and Katri were doing their Tutka roadshow, right? And wasn't there a pic of them in a pool at a hotel in LA? I know nothing, of course, but I think during that time Sauli was definitely staying with Adam when he was in LA, but I'm thinking they were maybe testing the waters a bit and seeing how the relationship went? And then obviously it was fantastic, so Sauli went back to Finland to put things in order and officially move in with Adam at the end of June.

Do guys get sentimental about special dates like gals do? Thanks, Ileanne, for the detailed timeline. Now I have to go look up the interviews you mention. You know, any relationship that lasts longer than about six or months usually means there is something special there. And, the boys seem to still be madly in love and happy with one another. So happy for them both.

Sorry everyone. I know I said I would update the timeline for August. I moved in August and lost track of my notes.
I'll leave it to Zinnia and Miachihu now to complete an official timeline.

Another Sauli / Adam relationship question:
Has Adam ever met Sauli's family?
