This just reminds me again that being an Adam fan is unpredictable!. When we predict and worry about his plans and promo he throws us something that never even crossed our minds. He would not tell us to watch Sunday for no reason. I am going to allow myself to be excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Me too ;D ;D Why not? If it's something else then fine, but I don't get the argument that this would be anything other that awesome if true. Do you really think Adam or anyone would turn down sing with Queen in a very special tribute??? People still talk about George Michael and Annie Lenox with Bowie's performances with them. More importantly, what would he wear!!!???lol yes. Well as long as the pants are tight and leather, I kind of doing really care how he look. Well..hmm..now I'm getting visions of something over the top from the Blondes. hmm...that might be scary...

There is a long list of performers scheduled to be at the EMAs. Why would he be a secret? He isn't famous enough for it to be an OMG moment unless you were already a fan.

Not any of them because Shashona Stone has Sony for a client. They all are signed to competitors. But I really do not expect to see Adam performing with Queen. One of his themes for Adam #2 is NEXT, not yesterday. And I am a huge Queen fan. Adam's management made one big mistake on his launch (OK 2) but the first one was TFM -- a classic rock song released 20 years too late. [I love it but I am a dinosaur. Then they followed up with FYE and the retro shuffle beat. I really think Adam knows he needs to stay current now. So IF he could get Queen to back him up for his new single -- great. Otherwise, he should stay far away from doing tributes. JMHO YMMV. Q3...hush your mouth!! we want whatever BB gives us, whether a Tribute song with Queen or having them back him up on his new Single (highly unlikely). To sing one of Queen's songs (we never heard Boh Rap in its entirety) would be beyond awesome!! Think of the visibility in Europe! Did u guys watch the Sing-Off this week? I was so blown away by the Queen medley done by contestants' Dartmouth Aires, it was soooo good it brought tears to my eyes! exactly how BB brought out in me during AI8. Please Universe!! Let BB sing a Queen song!! We would all die!!
I want Adam to be the star he deserves to be. And recognized as a music creator -- an artist. Fine with me if he debuts his new single and does a Queen cover. But not just a cover song. Even with Queen. In any case, we do not know that he will even be there.

Isn't Gaga, Bieber, Katy going to be there? Could be one of them. But like Seoulmate said he's usually not that vague when he's pimping other people, only himself. EMA's would be the perfect place to put Adam -- the press will take care of the AMA's/US do not get it. Haha and earlier I was talking trying to cool off till he debuts new music, then he drops this bomb, lol. Not any of them because Shashona Stone has Sony for a client. I don't know if it's an "Urban Legend" ... but I remember reading that Queen have some unreleased songs written by FM ... perhaps ( I'm dreaming now) the tribute would be that Adam sings a NEW Queen song - this would avoid the OLD MUSIC stigma and excite old and new fans ....

I admit I know nothing, but I'm having a hard time imaging why Adam would have tweeted that cryptic comment, knowing full well the impact it would have on his fans, if he weren't going to be there, and weren't going to be doing something noteworthy. Even if he innocently tweeted it for no other reason than to urge his followers to tune into a Really Cool Show - extremely unlikely, IMO - certainly seeing his feed immediately explode would make him think that maybe, just maybe, it would be a good idea to clarify the situation so as to not create massive disappointment later.
And I'm also having a hard time imagining Adam singing with Queen as being anything other than a huge win, especially if he knocks it out of the park like we all know he's capable of doing. Suddenly the highly resistant UK would sit up and take notice, and probably be more open to playing HIS music. I seriously doubt they'd hold it against him that he was singing a cover.
ETA...Ooooh, ladyoz, I'd forgotten about the rumor of unreleased songs by FM! That would be amazing.

So,my sister called me today to say that '"everyone" has been trying to figure out what sent me over the edge into Adammania. My response was YAWN, YAWN since she doesn't listen to music, buy music, or care about music(or musicians.) However, she may have stumbled onto something. Many years ago, about 23 or 24, I think, we chaperoned a long distance school trip (details unimp) and when the kids were in meetings for 2 days, we escaped and drove from Cherokee, NC up the mt to Gatlinburg, TN. When we walked into the building where you board the cable car to the top of the mountain, there in front of us was a booth owned by the Cherokee Indians. Manning it was the most incredibly beautiful creature I had ever seen He was a Cherokee, probably 6'2", long, long black hair, startlingly blue eyes(found out mom was NOT a Cherokee,) and the sweetest smile and disposition I had ever encountered. His name was Thomas. He was 24. We discussed him for many years thereafter but when I started my post kids and divorce life, he slipped my mind. Sis thinks I have been harboring impure thoughts about my Cherokee for all these years and that Adam (the comparison was brought about by the long hair/poncho picture she saw) is my (unhealthy, according to her) substitute for that long ago fantasy. I don't know if that's the case, but when I heard Adam sing BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY and watched the face he made when Simon called him theatrical then the smile he gave to Paula, I was a goner. Maybe it was deja vous. Ha I LOVE your story, well Adam does see himself as a shaman

Well I'm thinking that he could do an epic performance with Queen, it gets a lot of buzz in US and EU. People who didn't know who Adam was will go and check his old performances and music out, then during all of this buzz he debuts his single. Well I know nothing about marketing, but that sounds somewhat good to me. ;D

ladyoz...sounds good what u said. Let's hope!!
Q3...yes I agree, not just a cover song but debut his own Single as well. but my own personal preference is a cover song so many new fans can discover him & take notice of his stellar voice & performance-style!
