One other thing...if he were singing with Queen, he wouldn't need his own band. As far as we know, he may well be short a lead guitarist at the moment.

I think singing with Queen would not be a problem. Gaga sang with Sir Elton and everybody thought it was amazing. This is not a recorded song like TfM but a one-off at an awards show with an iconic band. Although I am not going to believe it until he tweets it himself, the only thing that encourages me is that Queen would want someone with comparable prowess to Freddie. Of course it could be Sacha Baron Cohen, thus plugging the upcoming movie.

Do you really think Adam would send that tweet for that reason, see his Twitter feed explode with excitement from his already angsty, overwrought fanbase, and not send a second, clarifying tweet if he were doing nothing more than pimping MTV? Really? If that's the case, I'll be very disappointed in Adam, because that would be a really shitty thing to do. |
