Guess this is a good time to delurk!
I have read that here in the UK the EMAs are being shown from 9pm, which is actually an hour later than when they start (9pm CET). So we are watching the awards on an hour's delay. This is because of the UK 'watershed' ruling whereby excessive swearing, violence etc cannot be shown before 9pm. I guess they anticipate a lively show!

I have to admit I am not much of a Queen fan, as i don't know too much about them. I keep hearing fans and others compare Adam's voice with Freddie's and almost every time I go to look at the suggestions to show how good his voice is, I'm left not too impressed. The only song that I somewhat knew that was theirs was the theme song from the 90's show Highlander, that I can't remember the name of right now. Just find it amazing sort of, that I don't know much about them, but I remember a lot of their songs, and every time I hear someone covering their songs, I'm surprised that I actually know the song. BoRap, Bite The Dust, We Will Rock You, Fat Bottomed Girls,etc.. But I just happened to stumble on Youtube, and looked at their song Somebody to Love, and I have to admit now I can finally see some of what people were talking about regarding Freddie's voice. I guess this is just a long about way of thinking if it'll be great if Adam sang Somebody to Love. ETA: Also there is a black leotard at the 2min mark, that I think Adam would look a little more then good in, j/s.  ETA:2 Of course leotard not good for this performance but sometime. |

We have daylight savings this Sat/Sun. I think UK has already done theirs, so we really to need to be sure of the correct time.

Ok...I have worked out what I want to happen which is SURE TO BE WHAT WILL HAPPEN.
ADAM WILL DESCEND FROM THE SKY IN A BEDAZZLED WHITE ONESIE WHILE QUEEN STRIKE UP THE OPENING CHORDS TO BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY WITH LADY GAGA ON PIANO IN AN EQUALLY ABSURD MERCURIAN INSPIRED ENSEMBLE EXCEPT THAT YOU CAN'T SEE HER YET BECAUSE THE PIANO IS IN THE SHADOWS. ADAM REACHES THE STAGE AND TOTALLY KILLS IT WITH A TRUNCATED VERSION OF THE SONG AND THEN IT SEGUE WAYS INTO 'RADIO GAGA' AND LADY GAGA IS REVEALED AND SHE STARTS SINGING WHILE ADAM AIR HUMPS BRIAN MAY. AFTER THAT HE DOES A LITTLE 'ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST/KILLER QUEEN/DON'T STOP ME NOW MEDLEY WITH GAGA POUNDING AWAY ON THE PIANO. SUDDENLY A BEAM OF LIGHT SHOOTS FROM BEHIND TWO DOORS ON THE STAGE THAT OPEN TO REVEAL BOWIE AS HE RIDES ONSTAGE UPON A CHARIOT MADE OF FIRE AND RHINESTONES AND THEN THEY DUET ON UNDER PRESSURE. AFTER UNDER PRESSURE GAGA GETS OFF HER PIANO BENCH AND JOINS BOWIE AND ADAM CENTER STAGE WHERE THEY BEGIN TO GET HOISTED INTO THE AIR LIKE THEY ARE IN A BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF PETER PAN AND THEY SOAR AROUND THE STADIUM SINGING WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS WHILST A CHOIR OF ANGELIC BRITISH BOYS SING ONSTAGE IN GLITTERY UNITARDS AND PYROTECHNICS EXPLODE LIKE IT'S THE MOTHER FUCKIN FOURTH OF JULY.
