Hahah, yes I am paying attention and flailing in the background. And I didn't think he would premier his single and that pretty much says so. My money is on the Queen tribute and while Adam may or may not sing a solo part I do think there will be other singers on stage or part of the tribute. It's all good and this exposure is an excellent way to start the journey toward single blast off... and if we believe Neil had the go ahead to give us a tip and his tweet about next Friday is true then 11/11/11 it will be. I agree this is more than likely too... |

I think he did it like this (via DM) because he does not want it to appear in his official feed, because then news sources could have picked up on it.
So for some reason, this is clearly supposed to be kept secret for now.
ETA: I do not know the guy he DM-ed to, but he does have a lot of followers, so it makes sense Adam would DM to someone like that if he wanted him to spread the word in the fandom without the news sources finding out or being able to cite anything concrete.
