 What happened? Funeral. The older generation in my family is starting to go. [sigh] This one wasn't entirely unexpected. Decline had been harsh the last 5 years. Kinda shocking to watch one of the most quick-witted and vibrant personalities you can imagine grow confused and silent. That said, we weren't expecting this phone call just now. Trying to figure out travel arrangements. Its a long drive, but AmTrak is expensive for last-minute tickets and my mom won't fly. Negotiations are on-going.  I am so sorry, hope it all works out for you |

I am on #teammedley if Adam gets to perform Queen songs..he would get unbelievable exposure, be part of an A-list vocal team and not be singled out as wanting to be the 'next Freddie'..I believe that would be counterproductive to his UK promo and single release. Queen fans ARE diehard and do not want anyone trampling the sacred ground of Freddie Mercury. Sometimes having a solo in a group medley is all kinds of win. This might be one of those times for Adam to break into the UK market in a very positive way. JMO etc etc Of course, I am assuming here that he will be singing a Queen song..but that sounds like the most plausible reason he is doing the EMA's. Lookie me trying to be all sensible here..guess I'm too tired from flailing yesterday..46 pages!!! Hubba, hubba, Atopers!!   HI Dutchie!!! What a great tribute show this would be if all of the songs on this list were performed in full rather than as a medley. I would absolutely love to hear Adam's rendition of Love of My Life. This song is very beautiful, I am going to add this on my playlist. If you are going to add this song to your video playlist, I would recommend this version of it. So intimate and beautiful. I love all of Queen but this song is definitely my favorite. |
