Hahaha, my SUV was THREE WEEKS OLD!!!! when my hubby backed into mine and crushed the bumper. THEN, a couple years later he backed into my daughters BRAND NEW used car and dented her bumper. Consider yourself lucky! Only ONE incident! My ex-husband backed my Corvette into his Dad's car, backed his nearly new truck into a tree on our property and backed his next new truck into my nearly new car....um yeah, backing is not his forte...and the good news is he's no longer my problem ;D  I'm now feeling luckier!!!! |

Hoppers, I am so sorry for your loss.  I had a death on Monday of a family elder as well -- my uncle. My dad wanted to go to the funeral at first (he is 84) but decided against the travel (Austin to Allentown PA) because of the freak snow storm. It was a relief not to try to take him on the plane. But it is truly sad to see someone like my uncle, who worked hard and did all the right things all his life, suffer as he passed from this life. As icing on the cake, the hospice where he was had no power for 30 hours there at the end. What a world.  |

 What happened? Funeral. The older generation in my family is starting to go. [sigh] This one wasn't entirely unexpected. Decline had been harsh the last 5 years. Kinda shocking to watch one of the most quick-witted and vibrant personalities you can imagine grow confused and silent. That said, we weren't expecting this phone call just now. Trying to figure out travel arrangements. Its a long drive, but AmTrak is expensive for last-minute tickets and my mom won't fly. Negotiations are on-going.  Hugs. You never know when the older folks are going to go. My love and sympathies are with you. Last Friday, I attended the 100th birthday of my uncle and godfather. It is a blessing to have those that shepherded you through childhood around to love and live with through adulthood, childraising, etc. When one passes, there is sadness, but there are so many happy memories. |

Awww... Hoppers.. I am so sorry for your loss...  Seoulmate... I am totally in love with your scenerio... that is of course whats going to happen. Totally sucky about this Lawsuit.. but, yeah I don't see Adam losing to them.. unless we don't know all the details.. I sure hope we didn't cause Adam trouble.. Went to see "In Time" tonight with my DD's .. I really liked it.. the whole premise was kinda mind bending...anyway I give it a #thumpup |

I would never have found the EMAs unless I saw to look for tr3s on twitter.
I, also, think it's helpful for peeps to tell where they are finding the telecast in their area.
Ann Arbor MI Comcast tr3s on channels 141 & 605 Sunday Nov 6th 6 - 8:30 PM EST.
I've been playing Queen songs all day, but I haven't changed my wish.
I want Adam to sing Under Pressure with David Bowie & Queen.
But I'll be happy no matter what he does.

Don't ya think Adam would have nixed the Queen rumors before now? - they're all over his feed...... I think he would have gently nudged us away from that scenario if it wasn't to be. Sure hope so anyway, cuz you're right about a collective meltdown....unless it's equally spectacular. ;D DOn't get me wrong - I'd love to see him perform with Queen, but I doubt it he would say anything even if he isn't, he loves the hype these speculations create except when there are specific reasons to deny. I'll let everyone get back to flailing and will wait and see I guess. I think he would have- just as he let us know he wouldn't be performing the single. |

Hoppers so sorry to hear about your loss. But you'll have so many fond memories to hold on to and make you smile. Momtomany if you're here, I PM'd you!  The EMA's come on here (Central time) at 5:00PM and go until 7:30PM on Uverse channel 506. I still believe Adam will be singing with Queen. Wouldn't it be great if they had Adam sing one cover then one of the songs Freddie wrote but was too sick to perform? Now that would be BIG! ;D

;DSo this is probably not the right time to ask what time Phoenix time Adam will be singing with Queen ;D Busy watching the grandkids for the past week while daughter and son-in-law have been on vaycay. Checking in everyday, but, this has been a looooooonnnnnnngggggg week! I came home everyday to shower and check in on hubby and dogs here at home, big mistake, parked my daughters SUV in the driveway and hubby backed out my car and sideswiped my daughters SUV. So now my car is at the body shop...how can you not see a SUV????????????? So excited about Sunday, just wondering what time the live stream will be on Arizona time. I had my car for a week and hubby was backing it out of the garage and was adjusting the rearview mirror ( the garage door opener is keyed to rearview mirror button) and he closed the garage door down on the roof and tore off the antenna). He usually rides his motorcycle, but, since his surgery in May he is driving a car. Now he is driving my weekend car, pretty sure this is going to end in a major disaster. Weekend car has a stick shift, requires more than...........put in reverse, check rearview mirror and go :-/ |
