I knew you guise would understand the pure joy I felt when I opened the envelope and saw The Advocate.
BTW did anyone else get kicked off the board this afternoon? I got a page I'd never seen before that said to refresh because the system was overloaded. (not those words exactly, but that's what it meant)
So sorry HSM; I sympathize. All of a sudden I'M the oldest generation in my family since my uncle died 1 1/2 yrs ago. That's a thought I find really hard to wrap my mind around

On the lawsuit --- here is a guess from an Intellectual Property Attorney.
- The writers of the song "Beg for Mercy" are Adam and Monte.
- Since Colwel Platinum Entertainment Ltd. does not hold a copyright.
PERHAPS.....
Monte assigned his copyright to Colwel Platinum and now Colwel Platinum is claiming that Adam did not write "Beg for Mercy" and is challenging his copyright. Then CP would have standing to file this claim.
Seems like a spiteful claim from Colwel Platinum in any case.

I'm not understanding - Then why have they promoted BFM as an Adam Lambert new release if they're saying Adam did not write on BFM????? ??? ??? ??? ETA - who said Adam copyrighted that song - I thought it was said that he signed over his rights for pay at the time? #confused |
