Yep. It happens every year. A well known, popular artist gets a Thanksgiving Special. In the past it seems like it has been mostly Country acts.
Happy to see a Pop artist featured every once in a while. ;D

Sorry..I HAVE A LOT OF ~FEELINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be kinda wtf for me to have Queen ask him to join in--that is if the rumor is true--and then only have him sing "Another one bites the----" before Katy Perry starts squirting whipped cream out her boobs and warbling out the rest of the line. But then again we are all prolly wrong and he will be dueting with Hasselhoff lolllzzz lmaooooooooooooooooooo

Maybe Adam will sing "Outlaws of Love".. It's not his new single ,but it will probably be on his new CD.
This could be the reason that it's a secret, not many people know the song. Whatever I just wish we knew more.. I'm having anxiety over this and only hope that Adam soars.

Should be interesting.. Doesn't Bill still have the same haircut as Sauli? Haha, I have no idea what he looks like these days. Anyone got a recent picture of Bill Kaulitz? just the link... youtu.be/lWddt43MVaU

Going to sound like entitled fan comment, but: I hope unless Gaga is on piano that Adam and Gaga aren't doing a duet as his only part in the show... I want Adam to finally get a little attention... And thinking about the secrecy of this my new speculation is: Wouldn't it be great if Adam sings with Queen one of the never released Freddie songs as a tribute to Freddie. One that Freddie wrote so he would get writing cred and the ability to have it heard. I think this would be the most fantastic of anything that could happen. We know Freddie fans won't accept someone else trying to replace Freddie, but perhaps if Adam sings a Freddie unreleased song that would help avoid any direct comparison of how Freddie sang it and how Adam sings it cuz Freddie didn't have a chance. *fingers crossed* To me this would be the biggest win-win for Queen, Freddie and Adam! THIS!!!! My dream as well. AND John Deacon making an appearance as well... Would be EPIC.

At the level I have been berting since we heard about this I will be too exhausted by Sunday night to get too upset. I'll just say "well crap" and go to sleep. But it won't even matter because we have a single coming, and no matter how Neil tried to back pedal his way out of things (a movie? really?) I think it is coming on 11/11/11. More disappointment in store for me? I'll live. It's my life and I'll wank if I want to!! P.S. Gaga's getting a Thanksgiving Special on ABC... www.sun-sentinel.com/entertainment/sns-rt-us-ladygagatre7a366d-20111104,0,1321076.story THIS (well, except for the Gaga Thanksgiving special ... *YAWN*) I so don't get the "he'll get a line or two" meme. That's not usually how these things work. Queen has a HUGE catalog of songs and anyone with a little staging experience isn't going to trot up the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and give each member a solo line (they could, however, sing backup – as Queen used choir in many of their songs). I still say six notable singers could do a 10-minute medley and each could have more than a half a song as their solo. They could duet in places too. It could be REALLY awesome if orchestrated well. And IF Brian May asked Adam to do this in August, and since he is doing the pre-event press, my guess is he is very involved with the staging and orchestration of it. And with his 40+ years of experience, I have a hard time believing he's not going to slap it together like a 20-car pileup on stage.

Thanks for the GaGa Turkey Day warning. I wouldn't have wanted to get caught off guard when it comes on and either lose my appetite or lose my dinner. Although a stripped down GaGa would be interesting I guess. NO NO NO SHE WILL BE DRESSED LIKE A NAUGHTY PILGRIM OR A GAY TURKEY OR SOMETHING. I actually would watch that.

I think Adam's level of participation will showcase his voice because Brian May LOVES his voice. Remember that he has done some of his own berting in the past. That being said though, I imagine the tribute showcasing several voices and it is quite possible that Adam would prefer it that way. He is likely to be a fan of the other performers as well and would probably enjoy the added collaborations. Not to mention the fact that it might be less pressure than if he was given another pimp spot. He and Gaga both performed on the AMAs and Adam's performance was more promoted than hers despite her being the bigger act. I think an ensemble is just as flailworthy as a pimp spot--either way Adam will gain visibility and have the time of his life. I can't wait until Sunday (even though Dish Network doesn't seem to be broadcasting : . But I'll be here with you guys for all the fun!
