Hmm..well Runawaysu and I were kind of going over this theory on twitter, that if everyone knows that there is to be a Queen special tribute, and you have MTVEMA and Shoshanna talking about this huge performance, and all of these artists, Selena Gomez, David Guetta, Adam a saying that it's going to be a big surprise, and even Neil teasing that he knows what's going to happen, I'm wondering if it's something else that's going to be going on that's each in addition to the Queen tribute. Because I think that's hardly a surprise, besides who is going to sing with them, and I don't think that is as big as what all of these people in the know are teasing at. runawaysu susan Why are all the artist's excited for a big surprise at EMAs? I don't remember this much speculation & excitement since FYE was released. I agree that anything he does at this event will be a win. No downside at all. But tbh I think I WILL be a little disappointed if his participation is minimal. The flail level here and on twitter is so high that many fans are anticipating more than a token thing. I am. NGL In this case I will be disappointed, too, because this is such a big opportunity for him and I would know it would be only because he not that big yet. I really hope his participation will be as big as Gaga's, because he deserves it so much and he is one of those few vocalists out there who can do justice to a Queen song. |

Yeah I really don't give a flying fig what song he sings or if he has to sing with other ppl, I just hope he gets a *moment* because as someone who loves his voice and is a fan of Queen, the fact that one of the best voices out there--one who could actually do Freddie proud--has the chance to be relegated to one or two measly lines in a sea of a thousand other mediocre voices is craptastical to me. Yes I know he isn't that big yet, yes I know he has a looong way to go and yes I know nothing is OWED to him....I am going on the fact that his voice needs to be heard paying tribute to this music, this band. Even if his moment is just one verse or chorus of a song he deserves a moment of some kind imo. Sorry..I HAVE A LOT OF ~FEELINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be kinda wtf for me to have Queen ask him to join in--that is if the rumor is true--and then only have him sing "Another one bites the----" before Katy Perry starts squirting whipped cream out her boobs and warbling out the rest of the line. But then again we are all prolly wrong and he will be dueting with Hasselhoff lolllzzz |

At the level I have been berting since we heard about this I will be too exhausted by Sunday night to get too upset. I'll just say "well crap" and go to sleep. But it won't even matter because we have a single coming, and no matter how Neil tried to back pedal his way out of things (a movie? really?) I think it is coming on 11/11/11. More disappointment in store for me? I'll live. It's my life and I'll wank if I want to!!  P.S. Thanks for the GaGa Turkey Day warning. I wouldn't have wanted to get caught off guard when it comes on and either lose my appetite or lose my dinner. Although a stripped down GaGa would be interesting I guess.
