I'm not at all surprised by SuBo's sales - I've always been convinced that it was mostly pity buying. Now that she has made a ton off the first album (& the Xmas one) there is a whole lot less pity out there!
I wish the Bieber Xmas album wasn't doing well - it makes me ill that Chris Brown wrote one of the tracks - just disgusting that he is profiting off all the little girls who are buying Bieber's album.

I casually keep track of iTunes to see if there is anything I want to buy. The top albums (U.S.) right now is the strangest, most eclectic mix I remember seeing. No one style seems to be dominating. It ranges from rap, pop, rock (more than usual), Buble, Elton John, Adele, and of course country. The oddest album, however, is "Goat Rodeo" by Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer & Chris Thile  ??? Neither is talking, so all we can do is speculate. However, Adam did unfollow Monte, which certainly implies a rift in the relationship (I don't know if Monte has since unfollowed Adam, and am too damn lazy to check). I suppose we won't know for sure if they've totally cut ties until Adam starts doing the promo rounds with his band. There has been no word of auditions for a new lead guitarist, but that doesn't mean they haven't happened. Monte still follows Adam. We have no idea why Adam unfollowed Monte or what it indicates. It is most likely because Adam and Monte have split. It may be because of the legal issues related to BFM and on advice from Adam's lawyers. Whatever happened between Adam and Monte, it at least goes back to June -- all the way back to the Moscow concert, probably earlier.So both Monte and Adam has had plenty of time to make alternative plans. ETA: The copyright infringement suit explains two things -- - Adam's lawyers have found a way to lock up all the recordings of music written by Adam. - Welsford is claiming that Adam didn't write "Beg for Mercy" so that song is still for sale. Q - What does this mean - about whatever happened between them happened before the Moscow concert? I am wondering if Adam was instructed to cut off all contact with Monte due to this law suit? If Monte is a witness for the defense in this suit, they would have told Adam not to talk with him at all. Just a theory....... |

Also, 4Msrmyn (and, again, Lulu) you're killing me with your Adam/Queen porn in ways that I believe are illegal in 48 states and Puerto Rico. I believe that only in the US Virgin Islands, South Dakota, and Southern California is that sort of thing allowed (and we all know they're morally depraved.) |
