I slept for four hours, and I woke up thinking, "This is Adam's day." I couldn't be happier or more excited for him until after the performance, and then I hope to be euphoric.  What a full circle moment... auditioning for idol with Queen, singing with Queen on the finale, and now singing with them on a world wide stage... Adam always loving Freddie coming up, always talking about him as an influence and mentor and inspiration in his life, mentioning him always in all those what- famous-person-would-you-like-to-have-dinner-with questions... To now have that influence indirectly put him back in another awards show, ready to explode on a worldwide stage, because Brian May recognized his kindred spirit, his crazy Freddie like talent and his true real-deal-ness... and have the chance, at the same time, to honor Freddie and pay tribute to a man who has been key in influencing the performer he is today... is beautiful harmony, a perfect lyric. I hope Freddie, Queen and Adam blow everyone away with the music that their moment creates. |

When I first started posting, I could do nothing. It took me forever to get an avi. I used to hit the quote button and try to copy what other people did. I would practice in the middle of the night. We have a practice Thread. Do you have a Photobucket account for photos? You might want to check that out. A kindred spirit This is the only site that I actually have an avi and that's because it's made easy on the set-up with photobucket. My mission now is to learn how to upload a screen cap to photobucket. Hey, everyone needs a challenge! I just get pissed that my challenges seem to be remedial. Can't wait to see Mr. Lambert stomp and strut today. Everything is crossed that he will let it fly and take us all with him. What an effing moment for him. I'm glad May has his back. It really should be stellar. Oh I missed that 4Msrmyn! thanks. Ive actually registerd on photobucket and found a tall dark handsome stranger for my avi. |

Oh man, someone help me, I'm being angsty again. I couldn't sleep for too long. I was so excited waiting for this day, now I'm nervous and scared. I'm not scared about what he will sing and his voice because I think that he would totally nail whatever number or part he has to perform. I don't know, being thinking about what Adam should wear, and maybe I shouldn't worry about it, but it's freaking me out now, thinking that he might wear something in homage to Freddie, and I really don't want him to do that. (Without knowing anything :  I want him to dress like himself, well just not something extremely conservative or extremely OTT. I mean it's him and all but I think he has a habit sometimes of making questionable choices at meaningful appearances. :X I just really hope that he wears something so hot and sexy. Adam has grown and learned over the last 2 years. He is not going into this a newbie and he is not going into this alone. He has supporters, advisors, and Brian May who will all have input into the presentation. The AMAs about killed me, but since then, even though I have not always agreed with some of Adam's sartorial choices, I have trusted him to be who he is and put forth the image HE chooses to project. Tonight I think he wants to portray a Queen fan paying homage as well as a worldwide icon in the making. Do I have butterflies? Of course. But hard as it is to accept sometimes, this is Adam's life and all we can do is encourage and support him. |

I have the DVR set. It's from 5:00 to 6:30 Central time. Why did I think it would be longer than 1.5 hours? My guide, as well as the TR3s website schedule says 2½ hours. And remember to pad the ending- it is a live event so may run over. I'm a bit confused. Signed up for Tr3s last night. (Charter cable)Only $5.00 per month with no penalty for non-subscribing after today's performance. YIPPEE! The channel came on in less than 1 minute and is in English. No other channels were bothered. Does this include the red carpet? And, if you're on eastern time and I'm on Central, wonder why your coverage starts at 7:00 and ends at 9:30 and mine starts at 5:00 and ends at 6:30? The listing after 6:30 says "TBA". ??? |

WOW! Got up and already 10 pages. I predict the number of pages today will break all records! The good news - I DO get the Tr3s channel. Yay! The bad news - it's not a HD channel. Crap! I have the DVR set. It's from 5:00 to 6:30 Central time. Why did I think it would be longer than 1.5 hours? Good morning!! Needacoke I'm in the Central time zone too and my MTV3 channel says it goes from 5:00-7:30 pm. Check again because I would hate for you to miss Adam performing with Queen.
