I want Adam to remember "less is more." No ninja rolls. I want him to go to that place where his music wraps itself in your brain and brings tears to your eyes. Then I want to watch him come back to himself. Those are the times I know he has given all that he has to give, and it is so incredibly beautiful that you have to cry or die of angst. Now I am calm, and I am going to remain calm the rest of the day. I was up at 3:51 a.m. with a beating heart and fear for Adam to do well. I have pictured his performance and how it will be, and I know it will be the best he has ever given. In My imagination.... I think Adam will be respectful and will honor the man he so admired. I expect a well tailored suit,looking very handsome ,no over the top stuff. Adam Just humble ,graceful and full of talent. revering Freddy's memory . I imagine his voice will totally soar to the heavens and that his performance will be full of class and reverence. I can also imagine the audience just sitting there in shock ,not able to even clap and then in one mass movement they all silently stand to show their appreciation and love.. That's how I see it. Adam and Freddy both gigantic talents who,IMO, shouldn't be compared .. They are each magnificent in their own individual ways.  |

Hi Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! It's Sunday!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that it's a *no angst* day too. Not that I've been angsting about Adam....nope, not at all!! Q3 just gave me permission not to angst about RL, so it's truly a *NO ANGST* DAY for me!!! I am terrified about the live stream though. My puter just does not like them at all...lol!! So, I've run a scan, rebooted and cleared my history. Crossing my fingers and calling out to the universe that it will work for me. But....not angsting about it. Nope, not gonna do it. I know there will be vids up quite fast and I promise not to cry if I can't get a live stream too. HEEE!! I don't get the channel on Time Warner either. But, I see that MTV & Logo (possibly) will have it on later this week!! So, I'm just going to enjoy this most wonderful Day for Adam in every way I can....especially with all of you awesome peeps!!! I've missed you all more than you know. I've been here reading, but just not posting. (((((((HUGS)))))))) to you all!!! This is the best place ever to stan our beautiful man!!!!!! DirecTv peeps:If you are having issues maybe call again and try another service rep? I just called and switched to a Spanish package and immediately got TR3s on my TV- I'm watching it now. I only have one round dish. All my networks are still there in English although I did lose HGTV and a couple other cable channels. TOO EXCITED FOR WORDS. OMG I hope I can get it -- I've tried twice now -- once with a rep and once on my own -- I'm calling right now. I have a round dish too and was told that was the issue. Maybe the satellite signal is clearer today or something because of the blue skies. I hope. I hope! |

LOL - talk about over blown expectations (impress the planet - seriously hmph)... oh and once he's done singing he'll walk and water and turn it into wine for all the audience to drink. Oh, NOW I remember you. I knew the name sounded familiar. |

I'm a bit confused. Signed up for Tr3s last night. (Charter cable)Only $5.00 per month with no penalty for non-subscribing after today's performance. YIPPEE! The channel came on in less than 1 minute and is in English. No other channels were bothered. Does this include the red carpet? And, if you're on eastern time and I'm on Central, wonder why your coverage starts at 7:00 and ends at 9:30 and mine starts at 5:00 and ends at 6:30? The listing after 6:30 says "TBA". ??? I don't know. Perhaps some cable channels are showing a shorter version of the show? I'd be recording some extra time, I know that. It just occurred to me that we may be seeing some video footage of Freddie performing while Adam is singing. That will so put me over the edge crying wise. [/quote] |

I slept for four hours, and I woke up thinking, "This is Adam's day." I couldn't be happier or more excited for him until after the performance, and then I hope to be euphoric.  What a full circle moment... auditioning for idol with Queen, singing with Queen on the finale, and now singing with them on a world wide stage... Adam always loving Freddie coming up, always talking about him as an influence and mentor and inspiration in his life, mentioning him always in all those what- famous-person-would-you-like-to-have-dinner-with questions... To now have that influence indirectly put him back in another awards show, ready to explode on a worldwide stage, because Brian May recognized his kindred spirit, his crazy Freddie like talent and his true real-deal-ness... and have the chance, at the same time, to honor Freddie and pay tribute to a man who has been key in influencing the performer he is today... is beautiful harmony, a perfect lyric. I hope Freddie, Queen and Adam blow everyone away with the music that their moment creates. oh i like all the spirals you are weaving. i just discovered Freddie made his public debut in a place in England called BOLTON I wonder if thats linked to the mistake John made in his 2009 interview when he was talking about Adam's finale experience and called him Adam Bolton??? |

I have the DVR set. It's from 5:00 to 6:30 Central time. Why did I think it would be longer than 1.5 hours? My guide, as well as the TR3s website schedule says 2½ hours. And remember to pad the ending- it is a live event so may run over. I swear! Am I in the only area of the country that is NOT showing the awards on TR3. All I get on my guide is "paid programming" "Paid programming!" WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |
