I'm only on page 15, but had to jump in and say I just finished watching a re-run of the EMAs, and The Show Must Go On wasn't edited out (if I understand correctly, it was edited out in Canada?).

Surprising but inspired choice as frontman! 43 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply

I am so proud of Adam and happy to be an Adam fan right now -- practically bursting!!! I have a couple of questions. I recorded the show and they edited out the first song. Did this happen everywhere or only on the west coast of Canada? Phooey, I say. Also, do we know where Sauli is and do we know if he was at the performance?

LOVE the new out interview
Totally like the Out Photoshoot plan of recreating iconic portraits. Important to remember that they aren't recreating a photo of Elvis by Warhol but an ink silk screen based on a photo, more of a painting. Therefore the cartoony colors, dramatic makeup and cut out shadow are all intentional but also part of the limitations/process of the medium that Warhol was was showcasing in his work.
I recommend checking out the other Out portraits and seeing if you recognize the artistic homage before clicking on the links, it's fun!
savvy92pf for your sorta nephew (? sorry if I got that wrong) who asked about Adam's music but doesn't like pop, and for anyone else newly drawn in by the Queen performance, my vote would be to pimp Glamnation Live to them. You get all the epic of the voice and live performance, plus the DVD of the stagecraft (plus it would be awesome if eventually 50k of it sold).
Adam's pants for the performance I'm pretty sure are Skingraft, the same as he wore on the Johnny Cota MTV style thing and maybe judging for Project Runway? (not sure about this). I don't have time to look up pics but they are on the skingraft site.
The knee pads are part of the pants, they stick up kind of like greaves in armor.

Today? I'm going on 2 days of non production!! : hear ya both! I've even got to return some phone calls from yesterday (when I refused to answer and was even pissed off they HAD THE NERVE TO CALL during the EMA livestream...hehe) okay....seriously....off to do that now Haha, that reminds me of how I felt when my daughter, who is Adam's age, had the NERVE to stop by during the livestream yesterday. She's actually moving out of state soon for the first time EVER, so I felt bad about being a little less than welcoming, lol. But sheesh, timing!!

A bit OT but I just had to vent this. My dad just had the nerve to sit here next to me watching the video of last night's performance and say that Adam wasn't that great, that his voice wasn't that good and that he could probably find hundreds of dudes online who could sing those songs better. I was speechless I need to go watch that video a few more times now to erase those comments. Guess I won't be turning my dad into a Glambert... Boo to your, Dad. Probably jealous of your crush. ;D Tell him that Brian May and Roger Taylor had a different opinion.

2. A guy I’ve known since he was 22 and who has been a sound editor in Hollywood for 24 years, consequently is a music freak. We reconnected a year or so ago and he turned the subject to music and a few jazz musicians we had gone to see long time ago. He’s still heavily into jazz and actually said, “What?! Really?!” when I mentioned Adam. This morning: “Since I’m a typical guy I hate to admit I’m wrong but that boy can sing. Will he be fronting Queen now? That would be a whole new start for them.... the boy has balls, saw him interacting with sound tech. Guess he’s not new at this.”Ha - I noticed that too but didn't know why. It's around the 3:03 mark, in between songs 1 and 2. BB's always trying to get things more perfect than perfect. I did too but Adam handled it with such finesse. I still think his sound feed wasn't quite right for 'We Are The Champions'..not nitpicking..for Adam to kill that medley WITH sound issues, singing with Queen, Freddie Mercury's songs, and adrenaline zinging through his body...I mean, he was absolutely insane!!! I chuckled cause when HBIC gets that 'drenaline running, he gets the most GRRRRRR faces. I love this man! And stalk a runway???? He owned it, yes he did..and the praise from Roger, especially..very happy to hear that. We all know how Brian feels about Adam, but Roger was effusive. To see Queen so happy, Adam so happy..god, what a night. 'The Show Must Go On' I will listen to forever, I think. Absolutely haunting.
