What an amazing day at this amazing place! I had so much fun here flailing with everyone about our 'SUPER STAR' AFL's EPIC (sorry Adam) performance with Queen!! I couldn't stop watching the EMA video, looking at pics, and reading reviews. I loved everybody's happy/fun posts and I just don't want this day to end! But I really need to get some sleep now. So thanks Q3 for giving our amazing community a home. And thanks to everybody (oldies, newbies, and de-lurkers) for making this such a fun place!  Gnite! |

Wow. That was a beautiful performance. I haven't been around as much, and my keeping up of all things Adam faded organically, but am so happy that Adam and Queen got to perform together. And I have to say that "The Show Must Go On" especially gave me chills. Am rewatching over and over and listening, and his voice sounds at his best. Loved the outfit (even with the less than attractive hair) it all came together nicely. Outfit second favorite to the Grammys one.
Thanks to everyone for posting the links, mp3s, vids, tweets. You guys are awesome. OK, listening/watching one last time (or five) before sleep.

Hallo Topies ;D
I spent maybe 13.5 hours on the internet yesterday in the build up to the EMAS. This morning my brain said : eyes - tired, take a breather.
Who am i kidding?
The computer could not log on and open up quick enough for me. My heart was elevating.
First thing i did was check ADAMTOPIA. 125 pages thats good i thought. Thats good.
Checked the top page of my twitter. Cam and her partner congratulating Adam. Thats good too....
Went straight to the first youtube vid i could find (on a blog).
Clicked on that clip with a nervousness, but eyes fixed.
ok there's Selena, with her husky, child voice. announciing Queen. Saying - rightly so - here to take us home.
And then the MUSIC starts. OMG. OMFG.
The orchestra intro dark, powerful, suspenseful music
fitting intro for one of the world's greatest rock bands.
And THERE he is! that dark and familiar silhouette.
And it starts. Mystery in his voice, turning and folding from passion to passion. The intensity. I soared with him. I wasnt afraid I would fall.
HE IS A KING.
dear god thank you for him
What can i say.....
They took us home to Music.

Have to de-lurk and want to thank you guys for the EPIC flailing and squeeing.. Got out of bed at 5am to watch MTV, only for Adam.
So happy to see Niles was suitably impressed that Brian May might have reached out to Adam for this performance.

Every time Adam has an 'event' I lose an entire day between the pre-event anticipation and jitters to the post-event flailing followed by exhaustion. I have a feeling when this new single and the album hit, real life and work will be right out the window again  : |
