Followed ATOP all day long and then watched on my HD TV with surround sound abut a hundred times. LOL Hubby came home from the Galaxy game (also champions - YAY) and we watched it again.....twice. On TV, the voice was more prominent. FABULOUS. I will save it forever. I notice Dadbert has not tweeted since he said he was waiting to watch on TV. I can't even begin to imagine what he's feeling. I noticed him in the AI video when Adam & Kris sang with Queen and he looked ecstatic. He may have gone to the ER after this performance.  For sure he's wondering how his weird, lovable, talented, musical theater kid came to be on the stage as a confident, charismatic, prowling, sexy Front Man for QUEEN!!!! I'd be crying, drunk and HAPPY BEYOND BELIEF. 8-) ETA: Good night, all. What a great day. |

I think the time has finally come.I've been saving this vid for almost two years now and I've just posted it to my facebook: Because everyone is starting to realize what we already knew two and a half years ago: Adam Lambert is legendary. Anybody in New Zealand know whether EMA will be aired somewhere? I have MTV Classic on sky, but dont think thats the right channel.....:( What are the chances of it being broadcast on TVNZ? pretty slim, huh?

What a fantastic day it was yesterday - can't believe I am still here, and I have had Adam on repeat since 10:30 - tht was 3 hours ago!
It was so glorious!

I still think this vid of Lynneville's is the best we have so far = clearest with the best sound. I have totally lost track of how many times I've hit replay. Gave up counting about 3-4 hours ago.
As the music starts, and the people on stage are almost in the dark... only backlit... and Adam is just a silhouette... a dark shape... I can't help wondering what he's feeling. Are his hands kind of sweaty? Is the adrenaline kicking in? Is his heart pounding? The musical intro is about what... 17-18 seconds? We can see him look upwards a couple of times. Then he slightly turns his head. Then he finally grabs hold of the mic stand. Is he totally calm and confident? Is he in a zen place? God, I'd love to know exactly how he's feeling/what's going through his mind before opens his mouth and starts singing!
And for a full 60 seconds he's in the dark before the spotlights come on. What the heck are all those thousands of people thinking??? How I'd love to talk with people who were in the audience!!
And I fucking LOVE the wailing he does around 1:29 to 1:36, because it's like he's totally in tune with the wailing of Brian's guitar!! So brilliant!!!

so tired, flailing on twitter and reading through the thread. God that was everything anyone could have hoped for and more !!!!!
Any chance we could suggest that Adam does "the Show Must Go On" as a possible encore from time to time on his next tour? It would be perfect!
