Last night was such a joy -- so glad to have shared it with you all! Spent some time this morning downloading audio and video from last night. I always listen to my iPhone music on shuffle because I enjoy the quirky jumps between genres--but I thought ATOPers would appreciate this one. I started with last night's performance and the very next song was Handel's Messiah -- Hallelujah!! Couldn't have been more appropriate!
This is only the beginning!!!!!! Sooooo muuuuch fuuun!!!!

Had an amazing Adam dream last night!!! Sad thing is I can not really remember the details, but I was with 3 others (don't know them in RL tho!) Adam was hanging out with us...just chatting... I do remember him being not-so-nice about Kris Allen tho! ;D I also remember telling him about Adamtopia and how he laughed at the name!!! He said the volume of fan sites & stuff freaks him out a bit! At one point I think we were holding hands too! Dammit I wish I could remember it betterer!!!

So what did you think about the vocals? Just what everyone else said. Dynamic, impeccable, original - not imitation, self confident, just the usual. I leave the real evaluation up to Cassie because she’s better at explaining why he makes his fans feel as they do. Reading the tweets was interesting and had to be extremely validating for Adam. I hope it translates into sales when his new CD comes out. It should. A lot depends on the single and the vibe of the entire album. It will probably take Adam a week or so to come off the high from last night and regain his sense of reality. One of his most charming attributes is his honest to God admiration for other talents and the thrill he gets from being in their company. Thanks, keyboard. always love your posts; wish you could visit more often. I just love that last sentence - it's so true. LOL - I think it's gonna take ME a while to come back to reality after last night. It's noon here and I can't figure out what to do!

outmagazine Out Magazine Adam Revisited: Adam Lambert tells editor in chief Aaron Hicklin what he's learned in the two years since he app... bit.ly/vSa7ES3 minutes ago Adam talked to AARON HICKLIN AGAIN ??!!??!!??!! I don't think there is an "again" because Aaron never spoke with Adam in 2009 which was part of the ridiculousness of his open letter to Adam and why Adam said they should have a meaningful conversation before Aaron puts his agenda on Adam. It's a good interview and it's obvious that Mr. Hicklin recognizes he was in error to do what he did and he shows respect for Adam and the way he's handled himself thus far in the limelight.

ohh, another fantastic OUT interview. So much RESPECT, Adam. For a man capable of strutting a stage like he's the literal center of the UNIVERSE, that boy has such healthy perspective and so little ego (at least, the bad kind of ego). Hicklin only partly got it, but I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt, mostly because I know from personal experience that he's telling the truth--he did take the time to respond in a meaningful way individually to a lot of upset Adam fans (or just generally upset human beings, because come on). The funny thing is, at the time I had an email exchange with him in part about the Details shoot, which I thought he'd completely missed the significance of (Adam, characteristically, was right on the ball). I told Hicklin that I thought it was a radically ground-breaking shoot precisely because it cast a frequently flamboyant, sexually provocative gay man as classic heteronormative sex-symbol, a leading man role for STRAIGHT female middle-America. (And, btw, they left the eyeliner and the nail polish on. The whole damn point of the article was that he was gay--this was not hiding.) That is a pretty amazing thing to do, and even more amazing for how well it obviously worked. This is indeed a brave new world, I thought to myself at the time of the shoot. Adam was really fucking with categories in a fantastically interesting new way, I explained in my email. Hicklin, in his response, more or less acknowledged this point. And now, in this new OUT photo, the magazine is doing exactly the same thing as the Details shoot did, playing with the same idea: casting Adam in a traditionally macho, hetero-normative role but using the fantastic glamour make-up and styling to make that role extra-fabulous and pure Adam. I love it, and I love the total capitulation on the point that it represents for Hicklin. I guess he did kinda get it in the end! Also, by the way, how incredible does this sound: I could not be a happier camper. I'm, like, dancing around my little campfire hollerin' in happiness. ;D

I can stop despising Hicklin now. I won't entirely forget, but I will forgive.

Wow, I wonder if those weeks we didn't see Adam and how scarce he was for awhile were during this time. I hate to think of him as being sad, ever. Of course, that's all in the past. But this interview is great!
It’s funny, when I started the writing process I felt totally exhausted. It’s like a decompression that happens after you’re on the road so long. Real life feels so foreign and bizarre, and I was actually a little bit depressed when I first came back because I just didn’t know what to do with myself. I felt a little bit lonely and I was trying to get back into my friendships but it felt like I had been gone for so long, it was strange. And I was trying to get over a couple of failed dating situations that didn’t go so well.

Q3 Thanks for answering my single timing question back on page 10. I thought I missed something while I was out of town and it was hiding in the pages of posts.
