OUT...Such a good interview. The turning point of change ...Pharrell. So interesting. A discussion with someone different than himself...almost like a counselor...hecould say what was in his heart and mind with pure openness. Glad Pharrell pushed Adam in the direction to get him to examine himself....Adam seems to be in a place of more joy in his life, by examining his life. A conversation not always as easy to do with a friend. And thank gosh for Sauli entering his life and being the kind of individual that makes Adam seem to glow when around him. Failed dating situations...Hmmm can it be that far back to imply his "public dating" times. No use in angsting over poor Adam, and the trials and tribulations of the past trivia of dating...when the important thing is the great and good things that are creating his new path for 2012. Queen, a great companion, great new music, and his loyal fans pushing for his happiness.

Remember when we were bored??? LOL I think I'm gonna need some powerful vitamins to get me through Era #2! I haven't done a single productive RL thing today. Oh well; there's always tomorrow. hee, hee Today? I'm going on 2 days of non production!! : hear ya both! I've even got to return some phone calls from yesterday (when I refused to answer and was even pissed off they HAD THE NERVE TO CALL during the EMA livestream...hehe) okay....seriously....off to do that now

I’ve read some of the coverage on last night’s EMA show and even though Gaga gets most of the mentions I am thrilled, and this is not sour grapes, that Adam is not a freak. He may fly his freak flag sometimes but it’s always about the song and the voice. I can appreciate Gaga sometimes and I loved Bad Romance and Poker Face but that doesn’t mean I want the person whose talent and charisma I deeply admire to be like her, no matter how much attention it would garner. Just like Gaga, Adam is one of a kind and does not need to emulate anyone else in order to attract attention. It may take longer but I also feel it will last longer. His #realness tweet thrilled me. you say freak like it's a bad thing? Gaga is ecentric, who I think has an artists heart and is a genuine free spirit living her truth, even if it seems a bit disingenuous to those of us on the outside. There are plenty of people who view Adam as a freak so I'd never say freak like it's a insult. Being a freak to me means daring to be different in spite of others telling you how stupid, wrong, ridiculous you are. Gaga and Adam both embrace their inner (and outter) freak and I for one am thrilled to witness it.

A bit OT but I just had to vent this. My dad just had the nerve to sit here next to me watching the video of last night's performance and say that Adam wasn't that great, that his voice wasn't that good and that he could probably find hundreds of dudes online who could sing those songs better. I was speechless I need to go watch that video a few more times now to erase those comments. Guess I won't be turning my dad into a Glambert...

Gaga has become far more about the persona and the weird costumes than about the music. She comes across as very fake. I really like her with Pokerface, Bad Romance, etc. and I got a kick out of her fashion back then. Now it just seems like it is her schtick and like she is so full of herself she doesn't even care how what she is wearing inconveniences those who have to sit near or (even worse!) behind her. I think it all started as artisitic expression and a form of performance art - but it feels unauthentic to me now and just a bid for attention. SHe may be getting the big headlines, but it is mostly for what she was wearing, not for what she sang or how well she sang it.

Wow, I wonder if those weeks we didn't see Adam and how scarce he was for awhile were during this time. I hate to think of him as being sad, ever. Of course, that's all in the past. But this interview is great! It’s funny, when I started the writing process I felt totally exhausted. It’s like a decompression that happens after you’re on the road so long. Real life feels so foreign and bizarre, and I was actually a little bit depressed when I first came back because I just didn’t know what to do with myself. I felt a little bit lonely and I was trying to get back into my friendships but it felt like I had been gone for so long, it was strange. And I was trying to get over a couple of failed dating situations that didn’t go so well.Yeah it gave me little pang reading that. I remember there was some discussion at the time about how it must have been difficult for Adam to adjust to normal life again after being on the road for so long. How he must have felt somewhat disconnected from real life. But hey that's all in the past now! I think about how COMPLETELY FREAKING AWESOME his life is right now and all is right with the world again LOL I've often wondered how life on the road with Adam's upcoming tour will impact life with Sauli. Will he go with Adam? Someone said they saw a guitar behind Sauli in one of the Tutka videos (I think) and I have been fantasizing that Sauli will be in the band in some capacity! ;D ;D Another musing......thinking back to Adam Lambert reacting to Adam Levine's comment on The Voice that he didn't know who Adam was, Adam made a comment that went something like..."well, he will know who I am soon." Does anyone remember that? At first I thought Adam meant that his music would be so good it could not be ignored this time around, but now I'm wondering if he knew about the Queen gig and was referencing that. How could peeps in the industry NOT be impressed!!! Now I need to GET A LIFE. Been totally useless for almost two days now.....and loving EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!!!

I truly do admire that about them.

Thanks. it is an ITunes format. To burn to dvd you would need to convert. But you can watch it in Itunes without converting.
