Don't worry about the Queen purists they are ultimately insignificant. Those purists mostly think that nothing at all should have been done using the name Queen after Freddie died. I ran across these types way back in the early days of the web because a fanfick writer I liked was a Freddie fanatic. As far as these folks are concerned if the other 3 guys wanted to continue in music they should have chosen another name. They really aren't Queen purists they are Freddie purists and don't seem to acknowledge that Queen had 4 members. No one will ever be good enough for them.

Umm, did anyone hear what I just posted, which is that Adam + Queen's You Tube video has 74,000 views, and Lady Gaga's videos of last night performance have like 10,000?? Gaga, with her zillion fans and who won four EMAs last night???
Youtube views is an indicator that record execs look at.
This is the big leagues, people. We are competing in the BIG. LEAGUES.

Hit and run. Back on page22. Didn't mean FREAK in a mean way, just that I want Adam to be Adam sometimes, not a creation. I actually like Gaga but it's like a girl in high school who sleeps with a guy, then they all expect it. HeHeHe. I just think it would be nice for Gaga to be able to just come out and perform as herself once in a while. without having to always be a creation.
Explanation sucks but have a dinner date so have to go. Mea Culpa to both Gaga and that poor high school girl I dissed.

As I sat with my granddaughter watching the EMAs last night - I thought how truly "small" our world has become. I, in the over 60 generation, sitting with my pre-teen granddaughter in Kentucky, USA watching the European Music Awards from Belfast, Ireland with American teenie boopers, old school European world class rock musicians and International singing sensation AFL sharing the same stage. Viewing it all on a 60" flat screen with surround sound but with Spanish and English commercials that we understood. What wonderment and awe it all was for these two generations to be able to share and appreciate not only each others worlds, but the world at large. And we never would have had the experience, thought to find the channels or take the time if it weren't for Adam. Yes, he is conquering the world in some ways he will never understand.
