This is confusing, but: I urge you to read and understand what the Queen Extravaganza (<--clickable) actually is- it is NOT Queen. "The Queen Extravaganza is a live touring show celebrating and paying tribute to the songs, style and vision of one of the World’s biggest bands, Queen."Queen is not touring. There is confusion because they are auditioning vocalists to tour as part of the Extravaganza, but again- this is not Queen touring. It is a TRIBUTE band. Now, Queen has mentioned that they might do the odd show here or there, and I sincerely hope that they and Adam have the desire and ability to coordinate things so that Adam might do a show or two. But that is the extent of it as of now. Sorry, I should've been more spesific in my post. I never meant to say Queen was touring, only the "Extravaganza line-up". Yes TY, Buder , for the additional info. I assumed that Brian/Roger will not perform with the Tribute/Extravaganza band. Therefore a one-off (Queen with Adam) would make more sense?

I still get a Pavlovian response every time the intro to "Under Pressure" is played. Want to hear that!!! It's amazing in this fan vid how insane the crowd is. There is no denying he has them completely in the palm of his hand and you figure quite a few of the people towards the front are likely to be radio/TV and other industry folk who would be more than a little jaded. I was wondering how many of the celebs were still in their seats out of respect for Queen and what their reactions were. The crowds shots I've seen are all really, really positve but I can't make out if it's just the pit folks or the celebs. Re: Under Pressure - I had never heard that song until I saw the judges perform it on The Voice. That was a HOT MESS! IMHO. Of course of heard Freddie and Freddie/Bowie sing is since then and I WOULD HAVE LOVED to hear Adam do it. - Maybe in the next tribute.

www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/07/adam-lambert-2011-out-100_n_1080322.htmlAdam Lambert Featured In Out Magazine's 2011 Out 100, Reconciles With Editor In Chief Aaron HicklinTwo years ago if you said Adam Lambert and Out magazine Editor In Chief Aaron Hicklin would sit down to chat -- much less reconcile -- most fans of the "American Idol" singer would laugh you out of the room. But that's exactly what happened earlier this fall when the Out editor interviewed the pop star for the 2011 Out 100, the magazine's annual tribute to the 100 LGBT people of the year, due out later this month. more...

Don't worry about the Queen purists they are ultimately insignificant. Those purists mostly think that nothing at all should have been done using the name Queen after Freddie died. I ran across these types way back in the early days of the web because a fanfick writer I liked was a Freddie fanatic. As far as these folks are concerned if the other 3 guys wanted to continue in music they should have chosen another name. They really aren't Queen purists they are Freddie purists and don't seem to acknowledge that Queen had 4 members. No one will ever be good enough for them. I agree! I'm not familiar with the Queen fandom, but yesterday I did quite a bit of reading on the Queen FB page, and there were definitely two camps-- Freddie stans who are often "old" Queen purists, and people who seem to love Queen and want to continue to hear them play, and are open to the idea of other singers fronting. The former would not be happy with anything less than Freddie resurrected (or a video of Freddie, lol) and on principle alone, are totally against anyone else. I can understand where they're coming from, but the thing is-- Brian and Roger loved the band and loved the music and wanted it to continue. Of course, no one can replace Freddie. No one should try. And as someone earlier said, Adam did such a beautiful job of honoring the music and Queen the band without doing a Freddie imitation. His clothing was as un-Freddie as possible. He constantly drew attention to Roger and Brian. His name was not used. It was so respectful. I think the message of TSMGO is exactly the point-- Freddie died, but the "show," the band, the music, must and does go on. I'm sure I'll be smited for daring to speak for Freddie, but I would guess that he would not have wanted the band to die with him. That he would have wanted more and more people to hear the music and to love Queen. And I think he would have been honored by Adam's performance.

Just thinking about Sauli. If he's in Hollywood, who was the "and our bitches" tweet referring to and didn't someone say he was with a blond that night in London. No drama here. Just like to know who he's hanging with ....left or right. 8-) Also, could someone remind me what the failed PM was? I really don't want to go back through the last couple of days threads. ;D (I'm little behind and don't know if some1 already answered this). That someone who saw Adam with a blond tweeted today: HARVIIKILLS Harvii GaGa! @ @adamgasmaussie Basically, there was like 6 people, and i thought i saw him with him! :S x
