Has someone link to a video of the queen taken by a member of the audience? I just found a snippet and loved it. Here is one snippet that I found - pretty good sound and gives you a sense of what being in the audience was like... www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlQ81GlLgE4&feature=related

Totally bummed. Srsly. All I know is that DMG/RCA is gonna have tyo WORK THEIR ASSES OFF to get Adam to where he needs to be after such an extended abscense. Pop music is a fickle world, and when the big acts are cranking these albums out like every other week.....Adam's music better be STELLAR and/or his team better be amazing or else I really worry for him. I mean I wanna be a patient, supportive stan...but right now I can't keep my rose colored glasses on and ignore how much this sucks. I mean yeah, the fans will wait....but will the rest of the world? I hope so and only time will tell...but I am finding it reeeally hard to keep my stanning up without new music or even an idea of when neew music is coming. I only can care soo much about a new haircut or suit or pic of him with Sauli or etc etc....*sigh* Trying not to be a negative Nancy but I think at this point I am leaning more towards realistic Rosie. On the flip side - the artists who are cranking out albums every other week will be a footnote in a few years. They will be burned out and people will be sick of them. In careers with longevity there is often a break between albums and so I am fine with it. For example Madonna had 18 months between 1 and 2 and then 2-3 years between others. Look at what is happening to Gaga - her music has really suffered and declined if you compare her early stuff to the repetitive dross she is putting out now. I know I know Adam has a long way to go in sales etc before he is in Gaga world if he ever gets there, but I would rather he be Bowie than David Cassidy if you know what I mean. Challenge today is you don't get to have a so so album like you could in the 70s and 80s, the expectations and pressure around this album is so sky high as to be a bit ridiculous and some of that is Adam and some of it is his collaborators all talking it up. So that's my concern not a delay in release. Anyway you know what they say - accept the things you cannot change. So chin up Rosie :-)

Realistically outside of Us that hang off of Adam's every word, outside of the fanboards the only thing in the news here in North America on the new that the General Population has heard about Adam is that He is being sued. The EMA's has barely made any news on the radio or major entertainment sites like Entertainment Tonight that the general public would hear about stuff. The general public forget. Adam's been gone off the radio for a long time.

The artists that release albums every year without so much as a break, are the ones who need to "strike while the iron's hot" because they know that in a few years people will get tired of it and move on. I've seen artists who stayed away from the spotlight for years, come back with an album and be just as successful. I don't think we need to worry about Adam, not only has he stayed visible but he has the talent and charisma to keep captivating people, specialy with performances like Sunday's.
