I will take this cut over that godawful long hair at the start of the year which aged him about 10 years...I think he looks young and hip ! That and the full mustache are the only two looks that I've ever really winced about on Adam. I was waiting at the salon a while back and flipping through an old magazine that had a picture of Adam with the long hair and poncho and I nearly cried. I had a strong urge to tear the picture out of the magazine but there were too many people around. I just hid it under the stack.  IMO, this shaved thing is 1000x better! Ha ha ...you are me...although I quite liked the poncho ;D |

I quite like Adam's hair cut, make him looks fierce . Just imagine he start tattoo or glue stuff
on the bold part, it will be very cool!!! He's from another planet ;D ;D

I am just happy that Adam has that rich, full head of hair to mess with. No signs of a receding hairline or thinning patch at the back of his head. I'll cope with strange styles as long as I can enjoy a full head of hair.

My Charity Water photo came Today! What a cap to an already FANTASTIC week. And also in the mail were beautiful pictures of my 14 year old grandson. I couldn't decide which to open first. Don't tell anyone - but Adam got first choice. However, my grandson is an awfully handsome young man with brown curly hair (no shaved sides-TG), brown eyes and a smile that tells you he is up to "something". Two great pictures of my two favorite males. Great Day!!

jumping in late, but just wanted to add my fave bit of the queen medley, cause i haven't seen it specifically mentioned yet--thanks, Bridgey, for the totally self-indulgent (and not at all rubbish) topic suggestion! Well, to be honest, my absolute fave bit has been mentioned endlessly--it's the "Adam casting spells on Brian May" (TM Negativeneil) part  <----well, not quite; more like---->   But my SECOND FAVORITE bit is when Adam sings "flaay-king" in the "my make-up may be flaking" bit from TSMGO. There's just something so simple and brilliant and Adam about the way he used vibrato to make the word "flaking" perfectly onomatopoetic. Who else can sound so vulnerable and so strong in the same musical moment? So perfect for the song. Okay, carry on with the hair discussion. I'm all ears. (Just like Adam. LOL, kidding. I actually like the hair. Makes me giggle. And then suddenly, as with Queen, not giggle at all.) #itsrockandrollitssupposedtobeselfindulgent |

Maybe I'm a cult of one, but I liked the long hair. Emo--as long as it's not too fluffy and Liza Minnelli-ish--is still my favorite, but I'll go along with almost anything that doesn't involve bald patches.

Dear mother of the universe, may Adam never, ever, ever hack his head into the horrifically awkward geographic form like this again. I am extremely open minded and I like hair sculpted into awesome and amazing shapes. This is a form of torture... to take such an incredibly handsome man and make his ears stick out and his hair look like Hannibal lector is in the process of removing part of his scull. Or like the way heads are shaved in preparation for electric shock. Please mother of all galaxies make it go away. I will have nightmares about this haircut. Almost nothing could damage the pure unadulterated, mind-boggling bliss of Adam with Queen, but this came strangely close. I am not proud of that fact. It actually hurts to see his beautiful head become an OCD, shaving casualty. Cannot think about this anymore. It makes me want to cry. I suspect this has something to do with Gareth Pugh who is an amazing designer but is highly OCD. Do it to the clothes - NOT THE HAIR. STEP AWAY FROM THIS HAIR "artist" Please. It's only hair, it will grow and his grows fast which is why he does these things because he knows all he has to do is wait a couple of weeks and voila all done. I am as always on team #whateverhewantstodoisfinewithme I am seriously a true member of team #whateverhewantstodoisfinewithme. Please note people this has nothing to do with my love of Adam. It is simply a comment about a purely superficial thing. I am an extremely open minded person. I love his daring, wild outfits, the various heights and colors and styles of hair. I love his freedom and his self expression and that he is constantly changing his look. I am ecstatic that Adam dares to go places that others do not. LOVE. I simply think this is a hideously unflattering cut for anyone and had a little pang that it was this haircut for the Queen thing. I recognize that this is a completely superficial thing. I did not say anything before because I thought I'm sure it cannot be as bad it looks right now. I am just not used to it. But I got used to it and really contemplated the cut and in the end I do believe that there are styles that can actually make the head look bad/awkward and this is one of them. |
