500 million households blown away by his brilliance... shocked and amazed.. just as we were when he exploded onto Idol!... Adam is like a magic potion. You drink it. You're enthralled forever. The EMAs are NOT viewed in 500 million households. The cable channels that carry the EMAs are available to 500 million households -- big difference. Total EMA viewership will be around 25 million including online viewers. There was some very sloppy reporting of this before the event and it continues to live in the press and online. For some reason MTV Networks has not been working to correct the error. I think I'm confused.... this tweet was posted a few days ago JohnKearns John Kearns @mtvema @adamlambert @marimoon @selenagomez @justinbieber @lmfao @jessiejofficial we did it - 1.2 billion!! #MTVEMA 11 minutes ago which seems to indicate that viewers for the EMA were 1.2 billion.... are you saying that only 25 million people watched both online and on television Q3 and what is your source for those numbers?

There actually may be more material from this Adam + QUEEN performance than there is for any Adam performance since the AMAs.

As someone who has lost several family members to the cause of freedom in the USA, I have to do this.
Veteran's Day - NEVER FORGET!
Fly your flags proudly to honor those who died for us.

I know this is off topic, but I finally got around to uploading my videos of Nikka Costa at the Highline Ballroom back on 7/14/11. I didn't get any video of Adam that night because he was standing directly above me in the VIP section and all I got was blackness when I tried. Sorry. Here's the link to my Youtube page if you're interested in seeing those Nikka videos as well as my videos of Adam at GNT concerts I attended and the Kradison concert. Unfortunately, my camera was confiscated at Nokia 1 NY and I only had a small camera for Nokia 2 NY but the sound was great on it. www.youtube.com/user/Jesslala111?feature=mhee#g/u

I would be remiss if I didn't bring over this Moulin Rouge version of TSMGO. The last minute or so of that is one of my favorite scenes in a movie EVER. It's just a very powerful song and when you add in its genesis and history it becomes larger than life.

I just watched this anti-bullying video by a group called Time for Three. Funded through a Kickstart campaign. There is a background story below the video. Personal connection: I watched he dark-haired violinist (Nick) grow up and perform at local music festivals. He attended the Curtis Institute (for music whipper snappers). It was always a treat to watch and hear him perform. I've never seen anyone who exuded so much joy in performing (well, maybe Adam). When he was a kid, there might be 20 violinists on stage performing, and everyone's eyes were "transfixed" on him (as Paula would say). Enjoy! Video from their web site with background info: tf3.com/index.php?page=homepageAlso on YT but not the background story.

Today's also Remembrance Day (11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month ) I just wanted to quote Lulu's post because I think "In Flanders Fields" is one of the most beautiful and moving poems ever written, and I urge everyone to read it in honor of our veterans. It was written by Canadian physician and Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae on May 3, 1915 after he witnessed the death of his friend, Lieutenant Alexis Helmer, 22 years old, the day before. It breaks my heart.

Oh, I LOVE THIS!!! The Adam Lambert Incident: markgilroymusic.wordpress.com/2011/11/11/top-10-facts-about-adam-lambert-aka-the-adam-lambert-incident/"Picture the scene – a cold Tuesday night in York, nothing on TV. I was channel flicking and stumbled across the closing performance of the MTV EMAs. Queen were performing with a singer who I’d never heard of before – Adam Lambert.
Every once in a while, an artist comes along with a voice that makes you stop in your tracks. It was only after the after the performance had finished that I realised I’d actually stopped what I was doing to give this guy my full attention."Love this! And, or course, I know exactly how this guy feels. Now if I could just start what I'm doing again, hahaha. Not really, though. I'm enjoying this all too much! And Adam's voice thrills me more than ever.

Thanks for posting this, sugaree. My husband is a Viet Nam vet, and paid a very high price, as did many. 58,044 brave soldiers never retuned from that war, and we will not ever forget. 33% of all living veterans are from the Viet Nam era.
