Ugh! I'm scheduled to start jury duty next week. I wonder if there is any chance I can get out of it. I'm not yet in the venerable age group but colds for me often turn into big respiratory problems and that goes back to childhood. Starts with a cold then I have to hold my breath and hope it does not turn into severe bronchitis. When it does (which often happens) I can be in and out of the doctors office for a month to 3 months. It is always so hard to shake. So I'm sure Coronovirus would be a big problem for me tho I'm not in big fear. I remember my biggest concern last summer was that I did not come down with a cold before my QAL concert, lol. You don't happen to have an elderly parent that you help out? My husband used that excuse recently to get out of jury duty.

I keep looking at the added dates, since that's where I have tickets and a hotel stay. All things being equally, I would be still willing to go. But I wish they would decide one way or the other.

They are closing schools and so many other things around here but the courts are still open, at least for now.

George Carlin from 12 years ago doesn’t reflect what we are up against today imo. People should be responsible to help reduce the effects of the current worldwide pandemic.

I like the makeup from last night - just the right amount, IMO. ITA!

A friend of mine had jury duty in Texas last week. She had to leave at 5:30 am to get there on time. She got there and found out it was canceled. She had forgotten to call in LOL!🤩

I am sure that under normal circumstances, Adam's Vegas shows would be sold out by now. All five or close to it. People are understandably afraid to spend a lot of money on an event that likely will not happen. These shows are really a big deal for Adam. Hope he can reschedule it like Katy P. has done.

I agree about the Carlin thing. We are in a whole new time now with a different mindset. This virus is global. I keep thinking about how SMALL the earth actually is. It has a lot of people crammed onto it. I think the same thing when it comes to climate change and how humans are contributing to it. The earth is small. It does not have endless room for us to keep messing with it. It is fragile in many ways. And right now, we have no place else to go. So we have to take care of each other even if it means sacrificing some of our "freedoms."

It is still about 5 weeks until the first Vegas weekend and a lot can happen in the meantime for better or worse. Thankfully, I am in a position to change plans last minute. I can imagine that a lot of decision making on Adam's side depends on the contract that he has with the venue, but I hope he has the option to postpone. At this point, I am prepared for anything. This is an unusual crisis.
