My recommendation is Greatest Hits (We Will Rock You) Remastered ...although it doesn't have The Show Must Go On ;D ;D I have Greatest hits 1 and 2. It's in a Gold box and is a 2 CD Set. It has everything on it, including The Show Must Go On. Oooooh, missed that one! Sneaks off to check it out

www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2011/11/13/on-the-grapevine-115875-23557168/On The Grapevine.....by Dean Piper, Sunday Mirror 13/11/2011 }So dinner was had this week with American Idol 2009 runner-up Adam Lambert at Soho’s Zilli Fish. He’s preparing to release his second album next year. Adam told me: “I’ve been working with some amazing people, like Sam Sparro.” He’s also happy in love – having settled down with Finnish reality TV star Sauli Koskinen. Good on him. That's all we got out of Dean Piper? With all the quiff jokes, etc., I expected him to write a novel on Adam. Well he did give Adam the lead story and since all of his quips are only a paragraph I think that's a win ;D

No wonder it seems like Rhianna never goes away (Chunkey, where are you?)!!
Mobile studios? Interesting approach! I almost feel sorry for her.

After this next album for Adam I would like to see more than three videos and then some singles that didn't make the album. I want to hear him on the radio everyday! ;D

I'm going to ask a stupid question. I've become a much more appreciative Queen fan due to listening to "The Show Must Go On" over and over again. Also, I love Freddie's voice, which is, to my ear, really satisfying, the lowness of it. (And I like how different Adam's voice is, that he's influenced but he doesn't try copying it. If they wanted a cover artist, they'd get Marc Martel right, who looks like him too. I bet if Adam wanted to, he could sound exactly like Freddie, since his voice is so bendy that way, but why should he?) I realize I must have known TSMGO somehow, heard it before, but classic rock was before my time and there are glaring gaps like Queen! Anyway, I'm looking on itunes because I've never owned any Queen songs, and I'm stumped. Should I get a greatest hits thing, or which album, "News of the World" or what? I am generally an album buyer, as I appreciate the way an artist puts an album together. Hits are hits, but I appreciate the lesser known tracks sometimes. Recommendations? Thanks! Happycat I remember you for Idol forums. "happy cat" is the pet name my husband gave me. Anyway.... Queen is a bit before my time too, but since the finale I've discovered my Queen love. iTunes has a couple of greatest hits albums. Those are a great start. I ended up buying greatest hits album #2 then adding a few one offs like, Under Pressure and bohemian rhapsody from other albums. Koshka, hi right back at ya! And thanks for the recs, you and molly and whatyasay and mys*&@^#r. I think maybe I'll get the Platinum Collection since I have zero songs and I won't be doubling up on anything. 51 songs for $19.99 with some remixes and live stuff included. Pretty good bargain. Thanks, my friends. Welcome, puteri! Watching the EMAs has dropped me into a pile of nostalgia, and even though I haven't dropped by here in a while, now I'm looking at Adam's old idol vids. Great to revisit. Yeah, he really needs to get his music out there again. Whataya want from me was a great pop song, he needs six more like that, at least just for radio...but don't shoot me, his voice sounds amazing on that, the way it builds.

No wonder it seems like Rhianna never goes away (Chunkey, where are you?)!! Mobile studios? Interesting approach! I almost feel sorry for her. SHE IS ONLY 23?!?!?! Jeebus. Feels like she should be much older, like she has been around forever. And no Mr. Manager of Rihanna, the people putting out music every 2 or 3 yrs are not disposable, it's the music that artists who release every 6 months who are disposable. Because her music is written by a committee and the artist is just a singer for hire with absolutely no artistic viewpoint who will be tossed aside as soon as the candles are lit on her 35th birthday and a whole other crop of younger, hotter gals are there to take the artists place with ever more disposable music. Of course there is a chance she could pull a Madonna and keep on working, but with this kind of a schedule the chance for burn out is high. The chance for people just being sick of her and moving on is even higher. Don't get me wrong--even tho I am sick of Rihanna like WOAH, her music is generally catchy as fuck and I'll buy her music if I like it, but she is not an "artist" ....she is a product. Good for her that she is so successful, but artists who actually take time to craft and create their own music are not disposable. It's sad that we live in a kind of society that feels this way. I know I don't....and I sure hope that the generation coming up behind me doesn't feel the same. It's the success of people like Adele which give hope to everyone who likes QUALITY pop music. It will just be interesting to see who of the pop star divas of today will still be around in 10-15 years. Right now I can see Gaga sticking around, perhaps Adele if her voice holds out....and Beyonce. Anyone else I'd be surprised.
