I have no idea what gives a song "single" potential, but I love Velvet and Roses both. There are a few really good songs on this album (don't love all of them), I dare say the majority are songs I really like.
I, like a few others here, feel really bad for Adam that his promo got so screwed up. I wonder if he's super frustrated, or just taking it in stride.

Velvet and Roses along with Superpower and Overglow would be my favorites out of the 13 songs. I don't know how to pick a single either. Either Velvet or Roses would work for me. He's probably frustrated yet he does seem to be handling it well. This stuff can all be rescheduled. I'm sitting at home all day now since I got laid off on Monday. So I'm really glad he went ahead with the release. Some other artists delayed theirs. I've been playing Velvet, threw in Fire Fight and the El Rey. Then I saw Bohemian Rhapsody listed this afternoon on HBO so I rewatched that Lol!

I'm so sorry you got laid off, Deb...I got laid off Nov. '18 and felt so lost that following year, I feel for you. It's such an adjustment. Now I've gotten kind of used to it, decided to retire and not look for a new job.

Now I've gotten kind of used to it, decided to retire and not look for a new job. I would look at it as a dry run for retirement except I can't really do anything. Supposedly it's temporary and since the company is covering the insurance it's possible we'll get called back when this over.
